Will I done and did it. bought a tow behind trailer last night in Traverse City Mich.  Now I have to figure out how to get it home to southern Indiana. Any body know a reasonable shipper in the area? Thought I check out my options before I start out for a 500 mile road trip.
Thanks,

Maybe we can have a hand off. I'm willing to get to the MI/Ind state line and get it from someone and would be willing to go to Muncie or maybe even Indy and hand it off for a tank of gas. I'm sure we can do it for you alot cheaper.

I live in Seymour, Fudgie lives in Huntington.  I would be willing to meet Fudge somewhere and bring it to you halfway, Scooby.  See if you can find someone to get it to Fudgie and we may just get it to you.

If someone can bring it as far as Cadillac or Grand Rapids, I can run it over to St. Johns.  I have a 2" ball on my Jeep.  I would have to be able to haul it with that.

Like your style, I had to break it to her that I bought the Valk before selling my current ride. Easier to ask forgiveness then permission.  Wink

I think it would be easier to tell her that you bought one then tell her it cost $200 to ship it!  2funny

I'm not sure giving her a trailer for her christmas present would go over very well with most women. Some. Maybe if you can think of some reason she needs it on those long trips or things that you can do with it for her, but best of luck with that.

You could always park it at a neighbors house and then tell her you're borrowing it when you want to pull it. I have a neighbor that does that. That's why my parents have so many neat things lined up near the fence...

I think tonight is the night i"m gonna tell her.
Being she brings everything with her when we ride, I think for her safety we should start putting the kitchen sink in a trailer  as the bike seems out of balance when it's strapped on the rack. How 's it sound?

love it
i have been told i am going to get a whole lot of crap if my wife shows up pulling the trailer next year at inzane x. but i think it is only fair that she pulls it i can go all week wearing the same pants and would pack for a week just using the bettle bags on my bike. i dont need extra shoes or boots or makeup or bra's or the kitchen sink  towels 12 pack of pop chips snacks ect
when we went for our first multi day ride i was on an 1981 goldwing and she was on an 2004 vt 750c she packed 6 suitcases and had them sitting at the back door  ;Dwhen i got home all i could do was smile and say honey were are we putting them? and repacked them for her in one backpack
