When Glen bought and posted about his new to him 2015 Goldwing, I expressed an interest in them and asked a few questions about ride quality and handling. So, thank you to Glen, Rob, Ron and John for your replies and insights. I purchased a good used 2002 Goldwing from an older gent in Apache Junction. 42k miles and very well maintained from what I can tell.

Well, you were all spot on, even though it is older, it is VERY nimble and easy to handle. I am certain that the newer ones ride like a dream, especially the ones that have the "wishbone" suspension upfront. But this one rides very well and I do not regret the purchase. I got the bike for $5,300 and feel good about it.

I am going to sell my 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 LT and keep my '99 Tourer that I store in Prescott for use when I am up at my cabin. Again, thank you all for the advice and guidance,

Dave

Congratulations on the new Wing  I still hope I can make the NYD ride.  Pretty cold and a little icy in the mornings up here.

Probably will not be riding for a little while, seems I caught some kind of bug that has really nailed me.
