The term "was" means it's in the past and I'm so glad for that. It was one of the toughest years of my life, what with all the events happening about every two months. As with many of you, I've traveled many a road in my life and they haven't all been paved. The year 2019 not only wasn't paved, but was mostly a muddy mess from January on. Granted, there were a couple high spots but for the most part the entire year was a struggle. If I never have another year like that it will still be too soon.

So, now with a freedom I've not had for the last few years I'm entertaining thoughts of travel on the bike. I only have about three distinct destinations in mind, the rest is pretty much going to be based on weather and what strikes me when I awaken. I have the form in hand to apply for a passport so I can visit Canada, the instructions given as to what to pay and to whom is a bit ridiculous....don't understand it. I'd like to retrace our honeymoon trip and spread some of Rita's ashes there. Most of it was in Canada, up the east side of the Rockies and down the west side. Also have a swing through Florida in mind, want to try and find a place to rent for 2-3 mo. next winter, possibly visit my old neighborhood where I lived the last 25 years..lots of friends there. The new year shows promise, I hope it's a pleasant one for all.
