The rioters at the embassy had painted his name on the wall outside the embassy stating he was their leader. Trump should really start running all his decisions by the main stream media before taking out someone who is responsible for killing hundreds of American lives.

A long time ago in a land far away there lived a tiger, who had been hunting for two long days. He was very tired. So he decided to lie down in the shade of a mango tree, underneath some cool foliage, and take a nap. He fell asleep.
Presently, he became aware that something sharp kept poking into his haunches. He opened one eye to see a little squirrel digging his claws into his side.
“Say, little squirrel, what are you doing?” asked the wise tiger, who could not fault the dimwitted rodent for poking a sleeping tiger.
“I’m feeling your muscles, to see how fine they are.”
“Well, little squirrel,” said the tiger, flexing his paw, “feel my arm and then go away. I have been hunting for two days, and I am tired. I want to sleep.”
So the squirrel felt the tiger’s muscle and said, “Thank you, Mr. Tiger. You’re very strong, but not as strong as the tiger in my glen.”
The tiger snorted, for it made no difference to him which was the stronger, and he went back to sleep.
Soon he was awakened to the feeling of his fur being rubbed the wrong way. He opened one eye. “Say, little squirrel, what are you doing now? You’re rubbing my fur the wrong way, and it hurts.”
“Oh, no, I’m not rubbing your fur the wrong way. I’m testing the resilience of the hair fibers.”
The tiger said, “Call it what you will—stop doing it.”
“Mr. Tiger!” cried the squirrel even as he continued to stroke the tiger the wrong way, “why are you angry with me? I have done nothing!”
“You have awakened me, and you are rubbing me the wrong way. Please leave me to sleep, as I have been hunting for two days and I am tired. You have tested the resilience of my fur long enough to know now.”
“Well,” huffed the squirrel, “your fur isn’t nearly so resilient as that of the tiger in my glen.”
The tiger said nothing to that, understanding that the squirrel seemed even less clever now than he did before. “Go away, little squirrel. You are in my glen now, and I would sleep.” So he did.
It wasn’t long before the tiger awoke to find little squirrel fists full of his hair, being plucked. “Little squirrel,” said the tiger, beginning to lose his patience, “I thought I told you to leave me be. Did you not understand that I have been hunting, and I am tired? Do you not understand that I could gobble you up if you anger me?”
“Well! I never!” pronounced the squirrel. “How dare you be angry with a little squirrel like me. I have done nothing to you!”
The tiger tried to be patient, as it was clear to him that the rodent had no sense. “You have awakened me three times. When I have told you of my wish to sleep, you have poked my haunches, rubbed me the wrong way, and pulled my fur out of my skin. How can you say you have done nothing? Begone, rat, before I eat you.”
The squirrel was much offended. He glared at the tiger, propped his fists on his flanks, and said, “Well, in any case, your fur is easier plucked than that of the tiger in my glen!”
“Then go torture him and leave me be so I can sleep.” And he did.
No sooner had he fallen asleep than tiny rodent teeth bit down into the tender flesh of his ear. He awoke with a roar that deafened even himself.
The little squirrel scampered just out of reach and the tiger, rubbing his ear, said, “You really are not very bright, are you?”
“How dare you!” squeaked the squirrel as he danced an angry jig. “I have not lowered myself to calling you names! How petty you are! The tiger in my glen is not petty!”
The tiger would have ignored the rodent as had been his intention all along, but for the gleam of wicked intent he glimpsed in the small black eyes.
He comprehended at last. The squirrel was not stupid—just disturbed and wicked. “You have been bothering me on purpose.”
“I have not!” said the squirrel. “I have been comparing you to my tiger. How dare you not let me interrupt your sleep when you are out here in the open, at the mercy of just any squirrel. How dare you accuse me of bad things.”
“Well,” said the tiger thoughtfully. “Did you get what you were after?”
“Oh yes!” replied the squirrel with much glee.
“Good. Then you won’t mind—”
And the tiger snarfed him down. Licking his chops, the poor tiger finally got some sleep.

I realize this can be difficult. And that good news for Trump is always good news (and without question this is good news).
But it would be better (all around) if this stuff never made the headlines.
If it has to make the headlines, it would be better if it read US makes another successful attack against multiple enemies, than US kills top bad guy (naming him).
Besides all news being twisted to the left agenda some way or another, this kind of news is a bad guy recruiting tool.

Of course we now know that Michelle probably has more testosterone than Barack. We also learned how Obama handles an attack on our embassies. The ball is in Iran’s court. |

All his concerns could be realized or not, he doesn’t know, nor do we. Nor do we know the specifics of eminent threats from Soleimani’s plans. If one wants to disbelieve the President and/ or his advisers as to the reasons for the attack that’s perfectly fine, most of those same people don’t believe a word he says anyway. Now it goes both ways, no way the President can trust Congress with details of a threat and his intentions with the mindset of so many members. Somehow I think the Mideast has been watching too much American newscasts and somewhere along the way they became Democrats. For instance they can toss rockets around, attack oil fields, capture American sailors, and attack our embassy and that’s completely acceptable and justified. But, when the President says that the taking of American life will be answered very harshly, it’s like they wouldn’t dare strike us. And when it happens, it’s “ death to America” and America is the great satan”. Much the same way Nancy operates, do as I say not as I do ie the impeachment proceedings. Now for my part, I think we should cut all aid to the bad players, pull out our troops, and park an aircraft carrier in the area along with a nuclear sub or two and see how you like me now. Aren’t you all glad a loose cannon like me isn’t President? |

I'm a big believer in speaking softly and carrying a big stick.
I also believe that stick should only be used with good judgement, like when American lives are at stake as an example. Read today that this terrorist is responsible for over 600 American servicemen's deaths. We should have taken him out long ago.
I whole heartedly believe that there will eventually be some reaction to killing this terrorist but, when (not if) that happens, our reaction should be one that will convince our enemies that we mean business. It's almost impossible to stop a terrorist who is so committed that he/she is willing to die for their cause. I don't wish for us to rule the world but, I would not tolerate our people being attacked. The price the attackers would/should pay would be a very high. Poking that sleeping tiger is not a good idea. What most Democrats don't seem to understand is, Freedom isn't free. There will always be a threat and you can't buy away that threat. It must be met head on with no sympathy to those who would do us harm. Consider how WW2 was ended and how that worked out.
No, that does not mean we need to make any glass parking lots in the middle east, but, we should bring any enemy to the realization that the price to pay is too high.

Yeah, you are right. Only Republicans serve and fight for their country. (What a sanctimonious crock of poop) You want to tell me where Rams said that? I reread his post above. Did I miss it? My next door neighbor was a paratrooper in the Philippines during WWII and he's a democrat. Not to mention he was a bad ass. But today's democratic party is nothing but a bunch of crying ars snowflakes that don't want to fight. Case in point. Most of the Dems I have seen interviews with in the last couple of days have said Trump shouldn't have done it. Going to get us into another war. Trump had a chance to take out a terrorist and he did. If Clinton had taken out Bin Ladin when he had the chance,911 wouldn't have happened. |

I bet you could read War and Peace and then produce a book report containing a whole sentence. What I gleaned from Ron’s post is this. He feels most Democrats don’t understand what it takes for our country to be free. He is dead wrong. If he cared to actually look, he would see that there were and are many who serve and love our country that are not just from his particular political persuasion. |

And where would one look to see that particular tidbit? Perhaps he should have clarified to say most elected Democrats. The Democrat party seems to be pursuing the global government / open borders agenda. I don't think that can qualify as loving our country. I sincerely believe that most, or at least many, Democrat voters are unaware of whom they are electing. |
