All tech advice in one place.

I have been thinking about everyone putting their knowledge in about every common topic in one spot. Maybe set up something at inzane where you can poll on best items or best places to buy something. It would be nice to be able to get a printed list for people like me who aren’t real tech savvy. Maybe even do an update every year to send out with the calendar. Even the simple things new guys want to know.
I love my valks and am in the process of slowly customizing my interstate. I try to read the board at least 3-4 times a week for any new info. Sometimes it’s hard for me to find old posts I’ve read and now need.
This site and the people have been a god sent. I am planning To build a huge garage in the near future and would like to ( part time) help and customize other people’s bikes. Hopefully set up a paint booth also. I know most agree on a good number of topics I read. I do use shoptalk but some pictures don’t show up anymore. If I can get enough knowledge that most agree with, I would be willing to do YouTube videos ( with my kids help lol. )
Thanks all. And enjoy the ride.

I've never been very good at researching old threads on here.
But when I've been able to describe the thread with good particularity, I've had pretty good success at having someone else find them for me by asking for help.

I remember the original days with the old forum, that the tech advice column was pretty good and fairly extensive.
Now that old tech advice is no longer available.
I wish there were a way we could still access that old tech column.

Just tell Serk he can't get all the old tech info linked to this board, then sit back and have a coffee or two.

Tried it.
The old forum software used a dynamically generated content format (CGI) and individual replies in a thread (along with most threads. for that matter) couldn't be captured unless the archiver was saving every reply - which it didn't.
