From watching it, looks like who ever is the fastest on the button and has the right answers is going to be the winner.   Will be interesting.

Those guys are amazing.  The only reason James did not win was because Brad uncovered all the daily doubles and wiffed on em.

I tried one of the 30 question Jeapardy practice tests the other day and am embarrased by my results.  If you want to feel educationally inadequate, try one.

I'm pretty good on history, literature and general knowledge, but when they start asking about some Hollywood or music crap (or entertainment crap of that sort) I whiff them all.

When overseas, there was no local TV (except John Wayne movies in Turkish, which was pretty funny, for awhile) and only one channel of Armed Forces Network.

Jeopardy was on AFN every day right after work, so we'd go down to the club, pound a few beers, and get rowdy playing Jeopardy.  And the cheapo horderves for happy hour was dinner (burp).

What was Bruce Springsteen most famous for?

What is being an asshole Alex?

What was Jayne Mansfield most famous for?

What was having the biggest hooters in Hollywood Alex?

You get the idea.   It was not the correct answer, it was the answer that made the most guys leak beer out of their nose.  Simple pleasures for simple minds.   Grin

I'm usually pretty good and keep getting told to stop blurting the answers. These recent questions are over the top. These guys are good.

Ditto. I think I can do pretty good - except against those 3 gentlemen. Literature and other such liberal arts stuff is my weakness - I kill geography and science related topics. I'm usually a pretty good guesser also.
