hi,i just got a box of valk parts from a friend and found a pulse rotor marked 004 , would this be a stock item or to advance the timming. this goes between the belt gears, any info would be great

That's called a trigger wheel. The 004 is 4 degree advancement. Most wheels are 6 deg. The Valk Interstate advances the mid range timing 2 degrees so the 004 wheel is used on interstates. BUT it can also be used on a standard/tourer too.

thanks sandy, so this would advance my timing 4 deg ,is that correct. if thats the case it may be worth the time to install it. thanks

Yes; 4 degrees. It MIGHT cause you to need mid grade fuel or premium, but I doubt it.
