You might not know that CNN has settled a $250 million lawsuit with the Covington Catholic student that they trashed on national tv. The amount of the settlement has not been disclosed but I suspect it was significant. Possibly the reason the other mainstream news outlets haven’t covered this development is because they are still in jeopardy of the same fate. The attorney for the student has plans to file up to 13 more lawsuits on his client’s behalf.

Interesting, how many apologies did you hear? They got it wrong in a big way by using their platforms to spread a false narrative much as they do on other fronts that further their interests.

Really. Wow. They didn't just get it wrong they ruined that kids life over their biased towards any Trump supporter. They spun that story to fit their agenda plain and simple. Now they are paying the price. It's called defamation.

But it doesn't surprise me that you can't see that since your case of TDS is so severe....

CNN is not a news organization, it is a full time propaganda organization.

Not a word uttered is without the agenda.

And all their talking heads need punched, repeatedly.

And to think CNN was on full-time in every US military intelligence center, once upon a time.

All would probably have a different perspective if it was their teenage son or daughter getting their reputation destroyed, when they were being the more mature one's in the dispute.

Then again.... that's nothing $250 Million can't fix.  Undecided

Nathan Phillips, who pleaded as the victim of being picked on by over-privileged white kids wearing MAGA hats, lied consistently about the sequence of events that occurred on multiple media station interviews. He's a POS.... and that's not an opinion.

All I honestly wanted to see was a public apology to the Covington High School students from CNN and others filed in the case.

Woke up a bit early and got to watch Fox and friends for about 2 hours.  I usually only get to turn Ainsley Earhardt on (or actually she turns me on) for about a 1/2 hour in the morning so this was a treat.

As I hate commercials, I immediately start flipping channels.  CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC are the channels right before FOX on the dial so I get glimpses of what they're talking about.  CNN and MSNBC were fixated on a Guilliani, et al, story the entire 2 hours I was sitting there while it was never mentioned on FOX at all.

Then I see stories about the President's accomplishments on FOX that are never mentioned on the other stations at all, of course.

It is unfortunate that CNN and NBC have developed the fake news reputation, but they brought it on all by themselves.  They got the biggest story of the century wrong and they spent millions hiring fake doctors and fake lawyers and fake experts, and fake strategists and fake journalists to convince you that everything good is bad, and that every move the President makes will fundamentally change this country for the worse and that he needs to be stopped immediately before he causes the end of the world.  Yet they've been wrong EVERY time.  The weatherman has been more accurate over the last 4 years than the fake news peddlers.

I wish I had a crystal ball to see how the lame media would have reacted to GOP heldover intelligence, FBI, and CIA agents spying on a democrat candidate and then investigating that person for the next 3 years based on fake accusations.

And now they're continuing the Russia crap calling McConnell "Moscow Mitch" on those same stations that got the whole Russia thing wrong.  Guess you can't fix stupid, or hate.

This was more than getting a story wrong. Getting a story wrong happens. I understand that. This wasn't a story gone wrong. This was done with malice and forethought. They targeted the kid, his classmates and school. Their actions in this case is evidence of malice in their reporting on others as well. Anything and anyone associated with Trump is guilty and evil until someone can prove otherwise.

I read he would get a 7 figure pay out. Then the law firm will get there's from it. I hope all that have been sued cave and pay out. He may never get enough money for college but the money doesn't matter. It took the guts of a kid to stand up for what is right, may we all do the same.

So tell us Tony when has FOX been sued for trying to ruin a kids life? Go ahead we will wait.

I have watched FOX news since way before the Obama administration. Yes they were critical of Obama but NOT nearly as bad as the "fake" news organizations have been of Trump and you know it.

When the mainstream media is waaaaaaay off on the left, the one news source that is truly near the center appears to be far right, if your perspective is based on thinking the mainstream ones aren't extreme leftists.....

Exactly right Serk.  And we all know Fox (in general) has been drifting left more than they should, though their best and toughest commemorators haven't (and those people are all I care to watch, occasionally).  Are they right wing?   You bet, but they tell the truth and expose the left for what it is daily.

If MSM was not the left wing propaganda machine it is, they might not be necessary.  But since that does not appear to ever likely change, they should full-steam ahead.  None of them is as conservative as I am, so they all seem nice and polite and accurate enough for me.

On the other hand, my (and I'm sure many) local Fox affiliates seem to be no better than CNN-lite scumbags and TDSers, just like NPR/PBS and BBC.  Left wing propaganda presented more politely (and with high brow snootiness and condescention) is still propaganda (with a little Vaseline to ease the screwing).

Question for those who would know. Does Fox News cable competitors have opposing views on there shows? Fox does and sometimes they can make me want to chew nails. Juan Williams is always a thorn in my side, He seldom says a word I can agree with but I suppose that’s his job. There are others who are much worse but they are usually only on for short segments. Plus Fox shows a lot of clips from the other cable news outlets so I do get to see some of their garbage including Robs heartthrob.

With the question mark, it seems maybe your confused. Counseling’s an option!
I do have questions. Maybe not so much confused though. 1) In this "politically correct" world of ours, would being enamored with a female who identifies with masculine traits, be considered a "man crush" ? 2) Could a 30 something ? lesbian be attracted to a 60 something fat, bald man ? 3) Do conservative old men think they have a chance with young, hot, blonde news announcers ? 4) I have many more questions, but I've got to get to my counselling session pronto.  Smiley
