I want to flush out my clutch fluid, should be easy enough but I can't figure out an easy way to get the reserve flat so I can fill it properly.

I was looking at it today, loosen it up etc. and couldn't figure out a good way to do it. The front brake fluid looks much easier to do since the bike on the kick stand helps with the lien but I can't do that with the clutch side. Maybe jack it up and turn the handle bars?

I'm figuring someone on here has figured out an easy way to do it? The PO put in speed bleeders so nothing to the bleeding part.

Have you tried a board or brick under the side stand? It doesn't have to be perfectly level if you use something like a MityVac to suck out the fluid before refilling. Just don't bump the lever with it empty!

Support till level (bike lift) and turn the bars to the right. If not level, loosen the mount bolts and rotate the controls till it's level.

I Rotated the controls and leaned the bike to the right using a scissor jack on the lower bag guard.

I took all four screws out of my lever/mc perch and temporarily
attached it at a place on the handlebars where the mc was level.

Like it has been said a small block of wood under the kickstand turn the bars to the right the loosen the two bolts securing the M/C to the handle bars an slide/rotate until it’s very level. Easy.

As a last resort, I had to loosen the line fitting on the master to let the air bubbles out.  Firm clutch after that.  Good luck.

My belief is that the reservoir does not need to be flat to fill it properly. If the bike is reasonably upright (I have a centerstand, so my bike is about straight upright), adding as much fluid as reservoir will hold will sufficiently fill the reservoir. The reservoir does not need to be filled evenly to the brim. I have changed fluid several times and never loosened the reservoir mounting bolts. If the reservoir is over half full, there will never be a problem (especially with the clutch side).

If getting the bike leaned over to the right is the issue, a method I use when cleaning my bike is to stick a wooden block I made from a couple 4x6 posts under the right engine guard and lean the bike over on that.  Works well for cleaning, don't do it with a full tank as if might leak out the vent.

You do know that the fluid just needs to be half way up the sight glass?
