Sweet Tea treated me to lunch yesterday.  We had a wonderful lunch and spent a few hours gabbing, shopping, and catching up since we last talked.  She is hoping to save her money to get a laptop after Christmas, so she can visit the board more often.  She is now working 7 on and 7 off.  (It takes a special person to do what she does, I know I couldn't do it.)

She said to tell everyone hello and Merry Christmas, in case she is not able to get back on a computer soon.

She is now working 7 on and 7 off.

Days or hours?

You might let her know they have computers for use in the libraries.  cooldude

Glad to hear Sweet Tea is well. What kind of job does she have that it is 7 days on/7 days off?

And like Norm asked .... how are you doing?

Sweet Tea is taking care of an elderly woman who needs care 24/7...it's a very demanding job, I know I couldn't do it.

I am doing pretty good, hobblin about without a walker now.  My foot is still swollen/sore.  I don't think I'll go back to work until after the first of the year.  I have plenty of sick days built up, so I'm covered.

Thanks for asking  Smiley

Wow, that great sugarbee. your healing fast if your without a walker or chair or crutches... Keep after it and get lots of exercise to keep the rest of you in shape. You can rebuild the foot and leg muscles after it heals.

Hey to Sweet Tea too, we all miss her posts.

There were some awesome ladies who took care of my Mother when she was passing, they were a blessing...
I bet Sweet Tea is that way...

Yeah, I'll bet it gives you a whole new level of appreciation for us husbands.   coolsmiley

It's not really as difficult as you might think.  Keeping them busy is a key to maintaining their good health.  You know, something to fetch, something to clean.   2funny

(Headed for cover now.)  Wink

I saw first hand the kind of woman Lisa is when Rick V went down on a ride we did to The Lizard outside of Hattiesburg , Mississippi . Rick's family was 200 miles away Allan and Lisa took them into their home fed them, hauled them back and forth to the hospital the entire time Rick was in ICU . When the hospital kicked him out for lack of insurance Lisa took him to her home and took care of him until he was well enough to travel home . We rode back down to vist Rick after he got out of the hospital and I'd never seen him look better under Lisa's care. Rick came very close to not making it after the crash. I'd like to add one more thing ...I'd like to wish Allan and Lisa the very best I'm proud to call both my friends... I miss hangin' out with y'all ...Glad to hear you are doing better Donna look's like that foot race may come sooner than I thought  Smiley

Merry Christmas
