Thanks George but my surgery as been rescheduled to next Tuesday the 21st. Looks like one of the screws he put in went through the vertebrae and is up against my nerve. Should only be in the hospital one night. Can't wait to get this done.

Ouch ! Hope they get you fixed this time. (Tell him to use the 5/8" drywall screws versus the 1")

Thanks guys, he's going to just take the screws and bar out on the left side completely. They where only there to hold everything in place for the fusion to heal. No longer needed.

Well I'm home now. Back is sore for sure. I've been told and read that if can be 4 to 12 weeks for the nerve to heal. I guess I was hoping for immediate results. So I will just have to be patient and take it easy for a while. I'm still planning on going to Death Valley even if I have to take the truck.
