That song brings back a memory. I have a Onkyo home system with 4 KLH speakers. Put that CD in one evening and when the chimes went off it fried the midrange and tweeters in all 4 speakers. Little too much volume. Sent them to KLH and they sent me all the replacements for free. Floyd is good.

Pink Floyd was my favorite band ever. As in I flew across the Atlantic to see 'em at a festival in the UK in 1990, saw them as many times as I could before/after that. Saw Roger Waters solo productions of Dark Side and The Wall after, but..... after the band has gone off the deep end anti-Israel, I just can't enjoy listening to 'em any more..... ...and that makes me sad, but I just can't get past the anti-semitism.....  |

(don't forget actors) They are in the limelight for their jobs, they get attention, their faces and names are known, microphones get stuck in their faces. (publicity is their business and livelihood) (lots of publicity and fame makes you think you and your opinions are important) So they get more chance to spout (in ways that are heard by the public) than most of us. Why are so many lefties is the better question? (much of country music aside, or it used to be) It's probably the drugs and alcohol. |

Took an elective course in college, Interpersonal Communication
Brought the album to class and played this song
Got an A
Great lyrics, hell the whole album was awesome
But the band went too far down the rabbit hole and lost their way even tho their music was still so creative.
Meddle is still my favorite album and the lone bass repeating with the drum and guitar howling in Echoes- live in pompei my favorite bass loop to play while riding starting around 6 minute mark. That just wakes me up for another hour of riding when I cue it. Not my favorite Pink Floyd tune by any means but it wakes my ass up

I can often overlook an artist who's art I enjoy spewing their idiotic views, but the outright antisemitism coming from Roger Waters (And blessed by the rest of his former bandmates) just poisoned the well for me on Pink Floyd..... And as I said, musically they're my favorite band ever. Roger Waters solo album "Amused to Death" was the answer to the question "You've only got one album to listen to for the rest of your life" scenario...... But just can't enjoy it anymore..... |

Israel is the homeland for Jews, from whence Judaism and later Christianity were formed. The land of Canaan was and always had Jews living there since 2000 years before Christ.
After the Holocaust, the world agreed the State of Israel was necessary and gained formal independence again from Britain's mandate and was recognized as the Jewish State.
There was never a Palestinian state. This is a fiction created by the radical moslems who are still angry over 1948. They attacked the moment of birth and all but Jordan and Egypt remain at war with Israel. CAIR is just another weapon in their war.
When Egypt refused GAZA after the 69 war and again in 73, Israel was left with a land with people that only wanted its destruction. And so it remains today although there are no Israeli's that live there and no control by Israel over the Gaza Strip, just a Wall built to keep terrorists from blowing themselves up and murdering children. Kill all the children and the people will die is the depraved mindset,
Dont forget the $ a family gets when a kid blows himself up. Yeah nice folks, not.
If one supports a BDS type movement (such as the oxymoron CAIRwhich is a front for Hezbollah and Hamas and which is supported by 100 democratic members of Congress too stupid or uncaring to know when the water is boiling) which seek to isolate,demonize, boycott and otherwise choke Israel then you are anti-semitic and no friend of mine.
You can disagree with a policy of a government without demonizing the people, boycotting their produce or seeking their death.
CAIR would have you think the Palestinians are the victims of Israel.
Yet the people are the victims of their leaders. Arafat, who looted billions and nothing toward development even today after Obama sent billions where is the industry, where are the green fields, where is the teaching that all are brothers? Meanwhile the medical, technical and other advances in Israel have benefited everyone, even Palestinians who are treated in Israel for nothing but because the Israeli people wish to help where they can, one person at a time.
Those who know how to read history know the teaching is to kill all jews where you find them and those who support them. This is why our government is such an ally of Israel and shall hopefully remain so.

Hold our constitution dear and refuse to give any quarter to those who would make it serve another master than we the people of these United States.
Does anyone else see that CAIR and its proxies refuse to condemn ANY nation other than Israel while praising missile attacks, suicide attack and other violence and murder against people of Israel. Our fake media do not even mention this in the news. Nor do they mention that missiles are fired from hospitals, schools homes of palestinian people who are unable or unwilling to stop the attacks.
We remain at war with radical islam even if my own senators are not. And I will continue to vote against all Democrats above the town level in November and pray for Trump and our armed forced in this battle that will outlast all of us. The Democratic party has betrayed this country and I for one would be happy if it were disbanded entirely and called what it is, the Islamic Socialist party
