Did I read a post here that the Valk carburetors are exactly the same as another model of Honda, just a different part number and the Valk has six of them instead of one? I also think that same post recommended a Honda mechanic in northeast Texas around the lake Sam Rayburn area that is very familiar with these carburetors. I have searched as many ways that I can think of and still can't find the post.
Any help identifying the said post will be much appreciated.

           Don't know unless it's Daniel Meyer they be talkin bout. atticrat-he advertises here-IS perhaps one of The Best Valk wrenches around. Problem is he is Always booked months in advance. His ad has his phone number listed. And callin him-well sometimes it's a crap shoot cuz how busy he are. mad6gun in Indiana be another good Valk wrench but he in Indiana.  Lips Sealed atticrat be in Tulsa. Good luck with yer search. Sometimes the search bar can prove "interesting"! RIDE SAFE.

My only guess for a bike that shared the Valk's carbs would be the Super Magna. They were also diagonal-draft carbs since they were four in a line, alternating faces, crammed into the V of the V4, and it was in production around the same time as the Valk. Wouldn't shock me if the carbs are close relatives, aside from jetting and the rack arrangement.

Although you may find carburetors that look very similar to the carburetors on the valkyrie, be assured there are no other identical to the Valkyrie.

Now that is not to say that some parts are not interchangeable. There are quite a few parts that are interchangeable, such as jets, needles, screws and the like.

Honda in their great wisdom was obsessive in their desire to be sole supplier for everything within each individual product line, and they prevailed brilliantly.

Even between different models of the Valkyrie you will find similar looking parts are not properly interchangeable.

There is also Big BF, who travels around. But I haven't read the General board since he started this winters repair route, so I don't know where he is or doing right now.

You contact him, and he'll schedule you in. He comes to your area or home, and does the work out of his trailer.
