While Facebooking, a friend posted that she had seen the Tina Turner musical last night and loved it.  The Queen is a fan of Ms. Turner's and since a birthday is coming up next month I thought I'd get some tickets.

Now remember, Tina Turner is not in this show, she's probably not even in NYC, or even the country since I think she is a citizen of Germany.  An actress is playing the role of Tina Turner.  The reason I emphasize this is because the ticket prices are the same, if not higher than an actual Tina Turner concert would be.

The other day, another friend posted something about looking forward to seeing a Michael Jackson show on Broadway.  I'm not really close with this friend and replied that Jackson is a monster and that anyone who would produce or support anything related to him is a disgusting human being.  Of course I got flamed and told that I should separate the work from the man.  BULL S H I T.

Anything for the almighty dollar I guess.

Some people have thick skin only when they want to and other times thin as paper.

The issue of buying/enjoying the work of people alleged/proven to have committed depraved/evil acts is a difficult one.  Do I buy items made in China, where the government routinely imprisons, tortures, and kills Christians?  For many products I have no choice.  Does that make me complicit in their evil?  Do I buy products from companies that advocate for, or give financially to, abortion-providing organizations like Planned Parenthood?  Do I watch movies produced by companies run by accused sexual predators?  If I find out that the owner of the bakery where I buy my bread has been beating his wife, do I buy my bread elsewhere, considering the bakery's loss of business will put the wife and her kids in financial distress?  I believe the Bible when it says that homosexuality is an abomination to God, yet I still have Elton John and Queen songs in my phone.

Pretty much everything I buy is going to support, in some small way, someone who is involved in heinous acts, whether alleged, proven, or still undiscovered by those outside his/her home.  If it's not the baker, it's the CEO of the company that supplies his sugar, or the pedophile he unknowingly hired to deliver his bread.

Compared to God's perfect standard, there are none that are righteous, not even one [Romans 3:10-12].  There is no one I could do business with without supporting evil in some form, and no one could do business with me.  The Bible also says "whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." [Philippians 4:8]  In most cases I can be okay with affirming the good that people produce without feeling that I am supporting their evil.  I know that although we are responsible for applying justice in this life, God will be perfectly administering justice to those who face Him after their death.

Again, you come into a conversation that I start, after asking you countless times to leave me alone, add NOTHING to the conversation, and poke a jab at me.  There has GOT TO BE something wrong with you.  Why would you keep messing with someone who wants nothing to do with you?  Are you really that bored with your own life that you can't pass up just a few posts a month started by someone who again, WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU?  There are plenty of other guys on this board who are willing to play your crappy games, so why do you keep coming back to me?

These are all rhetorical questions that I don't want your answers for.  I just want you to LEAVE ME ALONE.  Once and for all.  Ignore my posts, as I do yours.  I never open anything with your name on it and I skip over your replies within bigger threads.  I actually tune out of threads once I see that you've taken them over and spun them out of control.

Do unto me as I do unto you, and LEAVE ME ALONE.

It could be that Hamilton is getting a big mention at the current "circus" because many will connect the name to the Broadway play.

Probably, afterall, that WAS the play where the cast scolded the vice President during their bows, for just being elected.

Good call!
