1.)  Honda Goldwing tour  one beautiful bike and a perfect fit for me.  2.) 2020 Triumph Rocket3 2500ccs and that massive torque I must have it.  3.) Kawasaki Versys 1000 incredible bike 120 hp and this bike is what I may go to if the Valkyrie gets too heavy for the older legs, 4.) 2020 Indian Challenger far superior to the Harley RoadGlide 122 hp electric windshield, and fits me like a glove. 5.)2020 BMW1250RT almost perfect a bike they have built this type of bike forever and always wanted one.

Already own the bike I’d buy for how I like to tour, but it’s fun to dream...

1. BMW1250GS...for the longer solo trips so I could explore the backroads/back country a little more.
2. Honda Africa Twin...for beating around the bush/farm.
3. Yamaha VMAX...the sound, the power.
4. Ducati Diavel 1260...just because.
5. Zero SR/F...for fun/short trips.

This one doesn't move very fast but it's really steady on rough turf....like my carpet. Seems to work better if I make motor sounds while in use. Still need to get a horn for it. This is the only one useable this time of year here in the north pole, except it pisses off the polar bears.  Tongue

Ok....so I lead a dull life. It's winter up here and too cussed cold to work on anything in the garage so can't work with my hands so here I sit going bonkers.  Angry

You're right Rob, I'll stick with my old favorite of Black. I did have a Candy Red with my '92 Aspencade but that's been gone nearly 20 yrs. now. Bought that only due to the deal I got with trading in a GL1100 with all the bells/whistles...no idea now what model but it was also sort of a reddish color. Again, bought it due to the deal I got. If a black had been available for more money I would have bought it instead. I'd love to have a new Wing but at my age, it's not a wise investment. Plus, they're simply too high priced for my blood unless I also hit the Lotto. Then I'd probably buy a plane.  Grin

Nice post  thanks !  Cant decide so will keep what I have now

I did love the dual sport Yamaha 350 (kick start) which I learned to ride in the woods behind my friends house in 2000.

My knees have been pretty bad lately so I don't know if I would actually buy a goldwing or f6    The big Indian was a blast to ride, about the same appeal to me as the Victory Cross Country was to many

Also liked the ktm 990 except the seat sucked but that thing was a monster.

Took a versys out, that is a nice travelling bike and commuter for when my 1150 finally expires

If I were to win the lottery that would be a true miracle.  I understand one must buy a ticket in order to win.

I've three Valkyries.  I can't give them enough riding time so I'm not so much a good candidate for more rides.   Wink

A 1969 Honda CB750 KO, serial number 7400 or less (Sandcast)

A rider, not a show bike; the machine that changed the industry.

I would love to find one in a barn someplace that has not been touched in 30 years and bring it back to life.  The first spark of life is something to behold.

If I win the lottery, first, I'm moving my family to a place with better year-round weather for riding (and less smothering gun laws). Then, I can justify adding more to the stable.

1. Triumph Scrambler 1200XE     (Had a 2006; looked the part but was no off roader)

2. Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES    (may as well have multiple dual sport options)

3. Honda Goldwing Tour

4. Victory Vegas    (well out of production, out of style, and probably handles like garbage. Always liked them, though, so there's that)

5. KTM 1290 Super Duke GT   (for when you want to add more sport to your touring)

This list can and will change at any time.

Yes on the gunner position. If we get up high enough we'll need all the free air we can get so no matter if you don't use all your fair share.

No problem on flying the C5 for me, got my license in a C152 and C172. Much bigger numbered planes!!

I could buy these now but won't since nazi jersey charges $60 registration for each motorcycle. That is same cost as a midsize car.  none of the new, loaded with electronics, cause we don't want you working on it, You, Subject, must take it a stealer, would never interest me.

Cool.  On display or for sale?  They are hard to come by over here.  I follow a related FB page and they seem to be much more common in the UK.

I'm sure everything he has there is for sale :-) ... what I
am referring to is one of those two stroke street bikes from
the early 70s, that's a 550 GT, right?

He has any number of interesting 70s bikes there, some
full floater suzuki motocross bikes, there's a 750 honda that
someone put giant handlebars on, he has some new parts
and regular bars for it but not on it...

A good old-timey small motorcycle shop, I like the time I spend there...

The Kawasaki H2 Mach IV was a 750 cc 3-cylinder two-stroke production motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki. The H2 was a Kawasaki triple sold from September 1971 through 1975.

A standard, factory produced H2 was able to travel a quarter mile from a standing start in 12.0 seconds.

The Kawasaki 750 is a snarling purple-eyed monster, lay at its feet any
production vehicle, two-wheeled or four, and the 750 will chuckle, snort,
and eat it alive...

I still remember that description of it that I read in a motorcycle magazine
back in the day... there used to be a purple one with bassani expansion
chambers that would wheelie by the texaco station where I hung out
in the afternoons... I think I was still saving up to get a yamaha 100
at the time...

Suzuki 750GT Water Buffalo?

I'm not sure he didn't used to have one, but the last time I was
there (I got a new tire on the black bike three or four weeks ago)
I only saw the 550... I always walk around to see what is there.
I sat on a TS185 (I had one of those) when I was there this
summer...

I rode an H2 and I STILL recollect that b tch was SCARY fast. You weren't careful WHERE you put yer azz on the seat she'd do a long azz wheelie without bustin nary a sweat. And-werkin from memory here-the well what passed fer brakes were near as bad as the bike was fast. First time that fuel tank smacked me in the chest on a hard launch she cursed near went over backwards. THAT frikkin GOT my tenshun. One of "those" rides that stand out-like Big Mikes blower bike in Asheville in 14.  cooldude The H2 NEEDS a step seat like the blower bike had. RIDE SAFE.

I used to have five bikes.

The combined maintenance, inspections, plates/registrations, insurance, (property) taxes and storage was a bigger PITA, than the value of five choices to ride.

I collect firearms, but I only ride bikes.

So I went down to two, and for me that's just right.

Now if I lived where I could dirt ride and/or ATV right from my home, I might want one of those too.

If I won a gynormous lottery, I suppose I could collect bikes to put in my new gynormous garage.

But with that kind of money, I could get a Browning BAR, Thompson, several belt fed MGs, and a 20mm Lahti.  They are also lots of fun, and take up less room.

Man, those prairie dogs will not come back out.  (loud pipes save lives)  Grin

Yes it is. I've been eyeing it for close to 2 years now. I think you and I might be the only ones that like the color though.  Smiley
