I plan on getting Kuryakyn ISO grips with the throttle boss and noticed they offer an extended (by 1/4") throttle boss. Any one have experience with this? I had the regular throttle boss on my last Valk and loved it.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Maybe for bigger hands. Which way do they extend it? Maybe you could just add extra rings and make it longer off the grip. I been happy with mine for 9 yrs. Helps me 'set' a constant speed. I think mine is 'set' at 65mph.

I have the standard throttle boss (on both sides) and love em.    Can't comment on the larger ones but I would think they could be too large at some point.... just a thought.

I have them also. I agree any larger could be a hazard. My use and opinion.

Hi Kelm I have the Throttle Boss on my bikes. I do like them but did have a problem, only once with them. I didn't know if it was me,my glove, cruise or the throttle boss, but my throttle was stuck open.More than likely my fault,Scared the hell out of me. What I did was change the throttle boss around on that one side. It just gives me more grip on that side. All my Valks are set up this way now.

Hey Chome-- Looks like you have the brakeaway throttle lock on there with your kury grips. I have heard from some that I would have to get rid of my throttle lock to put on the kury grips. Did you do the install yourself? Did you have to cut anything away?

Hey Nitro. When I was about to get the Brakeaway, they came out with a model for the Kury grips. Worked great. At their site http://www.brakeawayproducts.com/appguide-5CP02.php?make_id=1&model_id=3

Thanks for the replies. I ordered them. 1/4" inch longer shouldn't be too large for me, I'm hoping at least. I'll find out next spring. Smiley
