Rode around 100 miles today. Stopped by and fed the Donkey
and Goats some bread. Donkey likes the bread. Stopped just outside
of Maiden nc at the old rail line that used to run from Chester sc
to Lenoir nc. The line ends not far from where the pic was taken
just before Hwy 321 and has been closed since around 1990.

Take him some carrots!

I too fed a donkey. Jack lives just down the road from me.

I also brush him 2 or 3 times a week.

A bag of alfalfa/grass hay cubes is pretty cheap (40 lbs for about $13.00)  and much better for them than bread; a couple of treats are plenty and they'll love them. smitten
