https://www.thecollegefix.com/university-poll-finds-new-hampshire-democrats-choose-human-extinction-over-trump-re-election/

Women would much rather humanity end (68 percent) than see another Trump term, while a slight majority of men (53 percent) favor mass human extinction. The numbers are similar for older voters (45 and up) versus younger voters (under 45), showing more optimism about a post-Trump White House.

Oddly, self-identified moderate Democrats prefer the end of humanity (69 percent) more than liberals do (59 percent).

I wonder if the inverse is true. When Trump starts his second term will they “extinct” themselves? It would have to be better than living under 4 more years of Trump?

That's a little more drastic than leaving the country. We all know that promise wasn't kept.

All smoke and mirrors.   After Trump wins again they will cry, nash their teeth, pull their hair.....not leave the country or kill themselves.     They will just start lies again to try at impeachment again

This is on the fringes of the leftist/climate religion movement now but it's moving more and more into the mainstream.

Keep in mind that 20 years ago many current core tenets of the leftist platform were considered fringe or whacka-doodle.....

What will the next 20 years hold?

2. New Hampshire.
I agree with #1, but not #2.   New Hampshire is split pretty evenly in democrats to republicans, but did vote dem in most recent presidential races.   Last republicans they carried, both Bushes and Reagan.

It's a "No Gun Laws State"

Wikipedia
"Since 22 February 2017, New Hampshire is a constitutional carry state, requiring no license to open carry or concealed carry a firearm in public. Concealed carry permits are still issued for purposes of reciprocity with other states."

The Supreme Court of NH struck down the rule that required non-residents have a permit from their resident state, because of the No Issue states like New Jersey.

NH motto is "Live Free or Die" and it's pretty much a live and let live state.

The change to a slightly more liberal following has to be from the influx of city dwellers from Massachusetts, ironically tying to avoid Mass taxes.   NH has no sales or income tax.

Very high property taxes though.

The poll was taken of dems in a college.

Young people that feel the whole world should die because it's not following their feelings or views.

I've been watching his new series and he seems to tow the "Global Change" theory, but I don't think he's actually blamed it on fossil fuel.

all climate change is caused by the Sun. man has nothing to do with it.

https://abruptearthchanges.com/2018/01/14/climate-change-grand-solar-minimum-and-cosmic-rays/

What to expect in a Grand Solar Minimum. How does an increase in galactic cosmic rays affect the Earth’s climate and also tectonic activity?

Here is a simplified description of the basic mechanism:

A solar maximum is the period within the 11-year solar cycle of high solar magnetic field and high sunspot count. Sunspots are highly magnetic and visually dark spots or ‘holes’ in the photosphere of the sun, where solar flares can erupt.

A solar minimum is the low activity trough of the 11-year solar cycle (Schwabe Cycle). A Grand Solar Minimum is a period of several successive very low Schwabe Cycles, usually coinciding with phases of climate disruption and – in the long run -cooling. An example is the Maunder Minimum (c. 1645 and 1715) that coincided with the coldest phase of the Little Ice Age. The Little Ice Age, from which we have been emerging since c. 1850, was the coldest period of at least the last 8,000 years, possibly the entire Holocene. Grand Solar Minima recur in clusters roughly every 200-400 years. 27 Grand Minima have been identified during the Holocene (Usoskin et al. 2007). Thus, we were in Grand Solar Minimum about 1/6 of the total time.

The sun emits a magnetic field through the solar wind (flow of charged particles) that reaches as far as the outer planets, this region of the sun’s influence is called the heliosphere.
