I've been in construction all my life, and I have seen all kinds of disastrous decisions made over the years that could have been prevented with a little bit of a "WHAT IF" safety strategy. Anyone who knows anything about concrete also understands that the structure needs to be solidly braced with zero movement for at least 7 days(95% strength), optimally 28 days(99%). Any movement will cause cracks in the concrete and reduced long term integrity of that structure.
BTW, what is up with the "WORTHLESS WALL COMMENT" ??...What gives anyone the right to decide that your community must bear the inevitable social and financial cost of an unvetted, uneducated flood of foreigners. Why should Democrats in DC have a say in Tuscon or Yuma.
I think that the post intended to poke a finger in the eye of others here...Why!!...and of course we all know the answer to that.

I have lived 8 miles from the border for 20 years now. I can look out my bedroom window and see 40 miles into a country I have avoided going to for 15 years. A physically beautiful stretch of Hell.
When I first moved here from NJ, I was immediately told what areas in town were safe to drive at night and where to avoid.
The safe roads were near the stretches of wall. It was only a few years old then.
One stretch of road, along the dry river with No Wall, was notorious for having furniture dumped from overpasses in front of you and then you were surrounded and held up before the perps ran back to Juarez. That’s where that kid was shot while throwing rocks at the Border Patrol.
The wall is there now too, and the vast majority here in EP are glad of it.
Car thefts and B&Es in the neighborhoods right along the border are way down where the walls are.
Simple fact is... The wall works.
Politicians who try to say otherwise are just pandering to the media and the Left.

I believe the main reason the deez are against containment is cuz it effects their-deez-voter base.
