I would have to agree on them all but was surprised the kawi vulcan 650s is among them.

Never knew that 650cc kawi engine was that quick off the line anyways apparently same engine as what is in the kawi versys 650 as well.

HD VROD knew was fast but really not a HD when the liquid cooled engine made by Porsche, agree?

m109r big bad vtwin and vulcan 2000 another big bad vtwin knew were both fast and probably faster than our Valks.

and of course the Vmax even the 1200cc with Vboost was faster as well.  I had a chance to test drive an older 1200cc this past summer thinking I would want it but after sitting on that dinky machine knew it was not for me just a young lads hooligan bike not very comfy at all.  Once that Vboost kicked in though had to hold on got up to 90 in no time flat.   cooldude

Lets face it besides the older 1200cc vmax from even the  mid 80's,  none of those cycles mentioned were made in the late 90's I do not believe and still can hold its own being pretty fast still as far as cruisers go today.  The Valk still has it for under 5K purchase price nowadays.   cooldude

I too am surprised at the Vulcan S, did not know they were this quick.  He also could have inserted  the VTX 1800 and Honda Magna 750 and I imagine a few others.  Last year I thought I wanted to add a M 109R.  Then I sat on one at a shop in Fairfield, OH  and it was not comfortable, and in my sixties, comfort is very important.   Good luck finding a scout for less than 5k or under 8k unless salvage.  But they run circles around sportsters and ride really well and quick.

yah,  I always wondered about the M109R but most reviews say they handle pretty bad in the twisties but great straight line light to light.    YEP,  do not knock the old 1994-2003 honda 750cc magna, have a 1997 and up to say 70 mph will keep up neck and neck with our big boy Valks that I know looses some steam after 80 mph but rarely go over that anyways all for around 2K hard to beat that.  Never sat or rode the M109r but did the VTX1800 and felt too top heavy to me and not as comfy as the Valk I/S I bought for same price way way back around 2006 or so.
