just tell them you can't speak english. Its a five point system, this can be one point.

The SSA will approve you for disability benefits based on your inability to speak English if you are 45 years old or older.

I have two ex B I L and my Brother that could not do their S S Disability with out lawyers. And a long time ago in another dimension when the economy went South in the 70s I played 3 different kinds of hell getting my unemployment benefits. Had it Not been for the V A my little Girl would have been very hungry. I eventually received my unemployment benefits about a month before I found another job. Course by then I'd been out of work for near 5 months. And that Ladies and Gentlemen was in the deez controlled bastion of lake county il.  Lips Sealed RIDE SAFE.

I have been waiting for over two years now for disability for ongoing medical issues. Have been denied three times. Last law group dropped me.  I have a local lawyer that found a mistake made by my last one. Now I wait up to another year for an appeal.

 This crap Pisces me off....

Sounds like they are moochers. Carpal Tunnel is not a disability that lawyer should be shot along with the dr that recommended it.
I had carpal tunnel release on Thursday  and worked on Friday.

that is a bunch of BS waiting that long to get an appeal.  Not having ever done it, but I vaguely remember my dad getting disability benefits from working at the GM plant when I was a kid and he had to get a lawyer involved which took months and months to get straight, but 1 full year is crazy long.   His 3rd spinal cord surgery though and he was done working for life at only age 55 no feeling in hands or legs and very clumsy the rest of his life some 21 years longer age 76 when passed in 2008.

I did read up on social security though although not quite age 50 yet.  My wife makes near double my pay and from what I get out of it (I think,  not really sure though), I could technically retire now or very soon and go on my wife's social security benefits since would probably be MORE NOW vs. me working the next 20 years of my life then taking my own social security.   For the amount of B.S. I have to put up with from my 2 nagging/worthless bosses both bitches,  I think about quiting/retiring near daily now.  Last week I was extremely close on walking out and never returning being talked down to like a fricking 2 year old from someone who has no fricking clue to begin with that knows nothing on how to do my jobs.

Then again,  the way my wife's employer is going right now in the mix of laying off 50+ workers soon,  my wife could be let go as well in the future so gotta keep working I guess for peanuts?   Cry Cry Cry

Don't tell them that in Flushing, NY.  Got to be half a million non-english speaking Chinese, Korean, and Indian people living there.  The street signs are in foreign languages.  The storefronts are going vertical now, with no English writing.  I can hardly recognize my home town.
