Song of the Day

Just listening to Pandora and reading some posts on the board here. This song is on now.
"Letters from Home"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIG9C3n-SPc
I was in the Navy (Submarine Service) and when on patrol (60 days at a time), we would sometimes get short notes from home (family grams). I would also leave letters behind to be mailed out at internals to my wife and family. Not the same but I see understand the song.

During the 13 months I spent in Korea, letters and packages from home and family were a lifesaver. Especially during the holidays. I couldn't imagine what it would have been like without that support.

Joe,
I found frequent visits to 'the vil' took the edge off nicely...

That helped, but with a different problem.
