They offer concealed carry insurance. They wave their own flag , but I am interested if anyone has first hand info or a better company to protect those of us with carrying concealed.

Ross, I've never done any homework on this, so I dunno.

But I'd be reading all the (objective) reviews I could find.

And specific to my own state (as all insurance must be).

And possibly comparing costs of a balloon (big liability) extra, added to some other policy you already have (like homeowners).... though it would have to cover CCW type incidents.

By choice, I've been under insured on everything my whole life (except my homeowners), because I dislike insurance in general, and because I'm pretty careful.  So far so good.

I carry a policy from this company:

https://www.uslawshield.com/

A friend of mine talked me in to it, he was involved in a road rage shooting several years ago and they immediately jumped into action and have been, and still are, fighting for him...

Admittedly, it's a VERY long shot policy, odds are high you'll never need it....

But, IF you ever need it knowing you've got a single number to call and your lawyer will answer and start working for you is a real peace of mind.

Also, since insurance questions are so driven by state law and commissions, I might contact the IL State Rifle Association to see if they endorse anyone.  (or recommend against anyone)

Lesa and I both have USCCA.
We did our homework on it and they seem to have a pretty good program.
In addition to the insurance they have one of the best magazines that covers concealed carry and firearm news on the market these days.
They also have several online forums, additional training available in both hands on and online, and case studies involving self defense situations.
We are pretty satisfied with them at this point.
