¿spoom's chili
5 lb. hamburger
2 Lg. onions, chopped
4 cans (29 oz. ea.) Tomato sauce
2 cans (30 oz. ea.) dark red kidney beans
2 cans (31 oz. ea.) Pork & Beans
3 cans (43 oz. ea.) Bush's baked beans
2 cans (8 oz. ea.) mushrooms w/juice
3/4 cup dill pickle juice (Heinz "fully cured, aged in wood")
5 Tbs chili powder
2 Tbs salt
1 Tbs ea. of cayenne pepper, dry prepared mustard, dry minced garlic
1/2 tsp ea. of thyme and majoram
1 tsp rosemary
1/4 tsp ea. oregano and basil

Brown the hamb. to medium and drain.
Put in large (4 gal. +) kettle with the ingredients up to & including the pickle juice.
Heat/stir 10-15 minutes, bringing to simmer.
Add remaining spices and mix in well.
Cover and simmer 2-3 hours at low heat, stirring as needed.

Ya'll making me hungry. Definitely having chili this weekend.

2lb meat (cow or deer) or both
Carrol Shelby Chili Seasoning Packet
3 large cans of crushed tomato
1 onion
1 green pepper
3 jalapeno peppers
crushed red pepper flakes
1 can of dark red kidney beans

Garnish with shredded cheese and chopped scalions and eat with scoop corn chips. cooldude
