You folks that's been on the Cherohala in the last few months do you remember seeing these poles ?

I've seen them out there with the transmitter too and wondered what they were reading/monitoring.

I'll admit that thought crossed my mind as well  Undecided   I also wonder was tax dollars used for this ?
Next time I cross Cherohala I'm going to stop for more detailed pictures . When I saw them ( the poles ) I figured it was something to record the wind but on the same hand eveytime I'm rollin' in that area I'm haulin' a$$ in that section.

Did they put up little signs in squirrel to let them know to use the crossing poles or do they have little squirrel crossing guards?  Cheesy

Kinda like the woman who wanted the Deer Crossing sign taken down so the deer would quit getting hit?

I rode across southern Colroado this summer and they are trying out a new wildlife dectection/warning system. Mixed results so far.

Jack Jack Jack, she wanted it moved not taken down. That way the deer would know to cross where it was safer.
