As the party bosses ordered.... With Bloomberg out Biden is the only "moderate" candidate left. They'll have Warren stay in to split the openly communist support away from Bernie, giving the nomination to Biden, who they can control and will be happy with.

He was always a small man.  And now he's even smaller.

Note to politicians:  Run on principle anti-gun platform, and face-plant.

Money can not buy personality, charisma, character, or the ability to debate.  He ran from what he was. Why he wanted to run and as a Dem I do not know.  I suspect because he had greater wealth than Donald Trump he was a better person, and jealousy got the better of him.  For 40 years he never had to compete, he just bought himself in and out of business and situations and maybe figured this would be a formula this time.   The Beatles were correct.  Money can't buy you love.

Money can buy you hookers, but while there are some similarities, voters and hookers aren't exactly the same thing.  Grin

Remember the debate where Warren attacked Bloomberg. One reporter said that's the first time in history someone paid a half billion dollars to be scalped by a fake Indian. Joe Biden in a debate with Trump will be interesting....if not amusing.  Roll Eyes

Trump, Biden debate. I hope there is a portable defibrillator on the stage for creepy uncle Joe. If died on stage the Dems would be in such a tizzy they will all show up at the voting booth and blindly vote in a dead man for president.

Actually Bloomberg did a pretty good job in NYC following up on what Mayor Rudy started.  He switched parties to run for the position. He started Stop and Frisk, which did work even though he now apologizes for it. He had some  good advisors around him at that time. Murder rated dropped from 2500/yr before Rudy to 600/yr and then continued to drop to 450/yr with Mike. All that said, I wouldn't vote for him.

I can't wait to hear the debate between Trump and Biden. I'll have to have a party on that night.

OH, and I understand Uncle Joe is going to have Beto work with/for him to grab all our guns.

I’ll bet you can see the difference in the outcomes. Trump ran as a Republican without much in the way of Republican help and had never held a public office in his home state while New York voters were stupid enough to elect Hilliary to the Senate. Warren is a current Senator and couldn’t carry that state from the voters who put her in office. A most distinct difference in my mind.

We will see how he does now that Florida is his home state.

I suspect this is precisely what's going on.   Though, I also don't believe Warren wants to used in that manner.  She and Bernie are the two most aligned in policy.   I'm thinking she'll drop out in the next couple of weeks.   Contributions will dry up and she'll run out of money.

Roughly speaking, my net worth might be $1 million. It would be like me spending $10 thousand. When you are worth $56 billion, it's really not a big deal.

Bloomberg spending half a billion affects him about the same as me spending ten thousand.

Only good side of Bloomberg spending a half a billion is that that money made it out into the economy instead of sitting in his hands.    That is a good thing, only good thing I see..

It seems the dark masters behind the Democrat party are confident enough in their stooge Biden that they've allowed Warren to drop out, so it's just Biden vs. Bernie now....  (And Tulsi Gabbard, but she's got about at much chance as Vermin Supreme...)

1)  he's not Bernie Sanders, he's not Elizabeth Warren and he's not Mikey Boombug.

2)  He's taller than the Easter Bunny

3)   OK I'm stumped

I've only got one - If he's the nominee, and if he wins, the impeachment proceedings to remove him for his corruption, bribery, quid pro quo, etc in dealings with the Ukraine and other places will start immediately, and will tie up the congress, stopping the Democrats from being able to inflict TOO much damage on this country.

What the primary process for the democrats established is that their future now depends on their pick for Vice President because their pick for President isn't the best.

I'm being nice about that.
