Had a meeting scheduled with our Financial Planner last night at 5:30. Got a call from him about 3:30 saying he couldn't meet in person because he was currently on voluntary quarantine for COVID-19. He recently attended a Basketball Team Banquet in his Town. Seated at his table was a Biogen employee who attended the now infamous Biogen Conference in Boston which exposed about 100 people to the virus. That conference has become like Patient zero in eastern Massachusetts with over 70 people quarantined as a result.

My Financial Planner will learn from his Town's Board of Health if he has to mandatory quarantine for 14 days. In the meantime, Sherry and I are glad that we didn't meet with him in person and don't have to consider quarantine. It's getting crazy and this is new territory for all of us.

Truly frightening times on the horizon

As an accountant, the ripple effect I'm seeing to my client base and the overall global impact is humbling.  Every supply chain imaginable is impacted

Kathy and I have been debating if we should still go see Micheal Bublè at the TD Garden on March 25 or not. Her surgery is March 30. Don't want to take the risk if it would hinder the surgery. We'll, just got news this morning his show has been postponed.
As far as the surgery, the Drs want her and I to fill out a questionnaire, and have a check up with our own Drs beforehand if possible. Visitation will be limited after the surgery. I said they could quarantine us together for 14 days, Kathy's reply was "let's not get out of hand."
