Went to Safeway today. Had a small list; on it was a loaf of bread. I was surprised at the empty and low supply of so much. The bread section is about 15’ long. On it was not one loaf to be had. Kinda hard to eat a PB&J without a spoon.

get used to it all grocery stores around me nearly 100% or 100% out of TP, meat, and bread, etc.

I suspect in a few more weeks once the trucks start coming back in will be somewhat stocked again guessing 25-40% or so.   How much TP does one need?   uglystupid2

I double checked my stash of TP and have about 40 rolls so should be good to go for a few weeks anyways.....   Grin  Luckily my kids are now in college for when home,  I went thru one roll every 2 days.

Your kids may soon be home again for awhile anyway. IU has closed on campus classes for the remainder of the semester.

I had heard that a number of colleges / universities were going to online only when they come back from spring break, but for the entire rest of the semester ? Hadn't heard that one yet...

Prepare for Internet stress test... (yes as a former IT person - this was one of my first thoughts when multiple large companies and education orgs were going work from home / online only - and now it appears public schools are too).

You do know the flour and baking aisle is barely touched, bread is very easy to make. The ones who can't grasp this concept will be the first to die off.

2funny homemade bread is the best. Then those that can't hunt or fish will die. Thats ok, leaves more for me to survive on. Only thing that would make this better is to add zombies.  Shocked

Local Ingles was cleaned out of rice.

Apart from the rice in the "Hispanic" section.

People are stoopid.
