I rode to the bank for some cd renewals and, when completed, a situation caught my attention. As I watched the business next door (a McDonalds, now closed due to State orders) I noticed a middle aged woman, with a small child in tow, rush to the shuttered restaurant and tug on the entrance handles. With no success there, she hurried across a busy four lane roadway, to repeat her efforts at a Wendy’s restaurant. I began to think that she was from out of state and had not heard of the mandated closures of  eateries and bars. But then, spying me, she quickly approached, and asked, “where in this town can I take my son to pee?”
I pointed to the Sunoco gas station, a few doors down and off they ran.
After she left, as I put on my helmet, A horrible realization occurred to me. At sixty-five years of age, with a touchy prostate and a seemingly shrinking bladder, I TOO very much depend on restaurant restrooms when I travel. I usually feel guilty doing so, and usually purchase a coffee when I do so. (I guess that’s half my problem) But what will I do now? Will the US government, at least put a portajohn every five miles along the interstates? After all, motorcyclists are taxpayers too! Our needs should not be ignored!
Please call your local representatives and demand that they address this crisis. Oh well. Enough for now. That large morning coffee is rushing through me. I gotta run. Mike in Ohio. (Formerly in NY)

John Mcafee just posted about this very issue.....

---------------

The bathroom problem is easily solved.

Not even the local authorities can be seen anywhere,

Let alone - citizens.

Nor any authorities whatsoever ...
Which is odd.

So I felt free to urinate just anywhere Smiley

I chose a spot next to a locked down McDonalds Smiley

Well on the bike I have to get creative, but in my Promaster 2500, I just walk to the back of the van and pee in a container (kept back there all the time).

But I've enjoyed peeing outdoors my whole life.

Just don't show anyone your weenie, and you should be OK.  Grin (you don't want to get put on the offender registry)

NYS shouldn't have any more issues. Prince Andrew has just requested the Army Corps of Engineers to come fix the problem.   Roll Eyes

I usually have it covered, I ride mostly (90% of time) on county roads where one can stop and take care of nature's problems while adding moisture to the vegetation.   2funny
