a b c national "news" last night the Lady Doctor brought up some disturbing information. The lenght of time this virus lives away from the host. In our air-yeah THAT air-about 3 hrs. 24 hours on cardboard/paper. 4 hrs on copper. And tada-plastic or steel 3 or 4 DAYS! Anyone here KNOW Why this virus is so Robust after departure from the host? And with a 2 too 14 day incubation period the infected may never know Where they picked this virus up or who infected them. Most of this info I posted is from what passes as "news" sources here in The Missouri Ozarks. Yeah-I Know-another virus post! RIDE SAFE.

As much as I hate to say this but it is survival of the fittest, if people get exposed get sick and recover then you build up immunity to it. I wonder how many people will take the vaccine if/when it is developed?

Saw that few days ago. They're saying the sneeze droplets can fall to the floor fairly quickly (6-10') similar to cold and flu achoos, but COVID-19 has been discovered to float in vaporized particles that spread further and remain higher in a given room's air for much longer.
Doesn't anyone carry a handkerchief any more that you grab from your pocket and hold it in your hand to sneeze into? Ohhh righttt! Hand is occupied with a freakin' telephone (that isn't really a telephone) but a freakin' video game or typewriter. Too busy to contain a sneeze so spread your snot all over the place. Just stay the hell away from me...social distance scale in action...but put nicely, of course.

Some information for you on the virus and the fact as many have said is not the terror its made out to be SOME POTENTIALLY GOOD NEWS..... A PRELIMINARY STUDY JUST RELEASED FROM FRANCE INDICATES SOME "OLD" SCHOOL MEDICATIONS, HYDROXYCHLOROQUIN (PLAQUENIL) AND AN ANTIBIOTIC, AZITHROMYCIN IN COMBINATION HAD A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT AGAINST THE CORONA VIRUS. HERE IS THE LINK TO THE STUDY: https://www.mediterranee-infection.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Hydroxychloroquine_final_DOI_IJAA.pdfOf note, one patient who was still PCR-positive at day6-post inclusion under hydroxychloroquine treatment only, received azithromycin in addition to hydroxychloroquine at day8-post inclusion and cured her infection at day-9 post infection. These results are of great importance because a recent paper has shown that the mean duration of viral shedding in patients suffering from COVID- 19 in China was 20 days (even 37 days for the longest duration) Very recently, a Chinese team published results of a study demonstrating that chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine inhibit SARS-CoV-2 in vitro with hydroxychloroquine (EC50=0.72%μM) found to be more potent than chloroquine (EC50=5.47%μM) [14]. These in vitro results corroborate our clinical results.

This brought up memories, my father used to carry a handkerchief and I swore after watching him I would never do that. My promise came after he used to open it and it would crinkle and in reality it would still be transferred to his hands, so no win with this idea. LOL thanks for that trip down memory lane.

Immunity is not guaranteed even if you have experienced symptoms and been confirmed as having the virus. After all, influenza changes every year. This Covid-19 is a newly mutated virus of the SARS family (SARS CoV-2) and no one knows at this point in time where it is headed in the future. Research will move forward methodically. In time it shall be classified and quantified as to it's composition. As far as immunizations? Some people adamantly refuse to receive vaccines for themselves and their children; the disease is never eradicated from the population and emerges with renewed vigor. Measles outbreaks are the perfect example of this situation. Measles could have been eradicated, as it has be identified with specificity and with an ability to be prevented, but the small percentage of non-compliant population allows it to flourish still with devastating results. Lemmings over the cliff, but you can educate the ignorant and uninformed with hope to turn them around; particularly when you tell them that they are going to die, while you walk away laughing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GU0d8kpybVg

the nasal flu shots that were given a few yrs ago made the person who got it contagious for seven days. something the unelected medical professional failed to tell him. upon further research it was revealed that was actually the plan of the govt medical community so that people who didn't get a flu shot would be inoculate every one around that person with the flue shot against their consent. Unknowing he made the whole office sick for five to seven days.

they best be getting this vaccine right the first time. would hate to have it cause other health issues later on down the line by getting that not 110% effective proven and tested shot. not as likely, but even 20-50 year old (give or take) very healthy adults are getting exposed and am sure there are some that have already passed being healthy non young and non older adults.
