Hi gentlemen this is my first post. Have a 2001 with California Smog. Have a pro lift jack adapter I want to install. She runs perfect and I don’t want to desmog. Smog canister is mounted at jacking point. I asked the pro lift manufacture if he had any suggestions and he stated that many Valk owners have just removed the canister and didn’t even have to plug the lines. Well that sounds good but I need to hear from the pros.

Hi Dev and welcome to the VRCC!   cooldude

I'm not real familiar with the California smog system -- I'll have to reference my shop manual -- but I would certainly not disconnect and leave lines unplugged!  If your Valk is running like a top, then leave it alone.  Ya know...if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Nevertheless, here's a link to a video about using a home made lift adaptor...
