I started my bike for the first time this year which I normally don’t do , I usually start it up every week anyway I had it on a lift with the kick stand up it started and ran great so I took it off the lift and went outside put the kick stand down and it wouldn’t start, I pulled the stand up and it started so I knew it had to be the kick stand switch, well now it won’t start with the kick stand up or down and I’m not getting any spark, any ideas ? You guys have never let me down so please help.

I think it is on purpose that it won't start with the kickstand down - I guess that's what
you meant when you said you "knew it had to be the kick stand switch"...

I think maybe you started it too many times without riding it... now the battery is
too pooped out to start the bike... it does still turn over, right? It is common for a
pooped out Valkyrie battery to get the bike to turn over great, but not have enough
left to make the spark...

-Mike "so - I think (hope) it is merely your battery needs a charge..."

It’s pretty easy to mess up the kickstand switch with the jack. I’d look that over. Hopefully it’s just a low battery like hubcap said.

If the bike is in neutral (and the light is on), the bike should be able to be started whether the side stand is up or down.
If the bike is in gear with the side stand up and the clutch handle pulled in,  the bike should be able to be started. If not, check the switch at the clutch handle.
If the bike is in gear and the side stand is down, it will never be able to start.

If the start button spins the motor when depressed and it does not start, you have a different problem.

Did you engage the kill switch accidentally...I think this has been done a time or two.

I took the kick stand switch off cleaned it up and put it back on , I think the little tab on the switch wasn’t in the hole, but she fired up and I took it out for about 2 hours kept stopping to see if it would start back up and had no issues, good to go man gotta love these bikes, thanks again for the back up

Yep, I believe that's correct.
