Curious to hear others thoughts about riding with these orders in place. Riding a bicycle is listed as allowed, would a motorcycle be as well? Not looking to start a debate about if the orders are warranted, just want to know if members will be out riding.

Thanks and stay safe.

I ride almost everyday for a couple hours here in both lake and Orange County no problem. Even ran into cop cars here and there no problem

I know that Nick, and Steve Eddy have been riding. Roxie and I and my sister are planning to ride tomorrow, with stops for takeout and gas and nature calls.

Here’s Hillsborough County: https://www.hillsboroughcounty.org/en/residents/public-safety/emergency-management/safer-at-home

Pinellas: http://www.pinellascounty.org/emergency/PDF/covid19/res20-20.pdf

Tampa: https://www.tampagov.net/emergency-management/safer-at-home

I did finally ride today about 80 miles in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties. There were plenty of people out and about in cars and on motorcycles, though less than a typical Saturday. The weather was glorious. Janice and I will celebrate her birthday tomorrow with a nice ride.  Thanks for all the replies. Get out and enjoy the great weather and the reduced traffic! Be smart and stay safe.

Thanks Gill, If we go into lockdown south of the bridge I have been told I will be given the pass to continue to come into work for City of Sarasota. If so you can bet I will be riding the Valkyrie a lot, with empty roads.   Cheesy  cooldude

Na take the Rebel,  Jerry on a 300 LOL.

Am affected by the order for those 65 and older to self quarantine. Lesa (not affected age wise) is as well due to her asthma and the fact that her lungs have been damaged by previous bouts of pneumonia.
Am torn as I want to work, knowing folks depend on me, but my protective instinct for Lesa and her well-being wins out on that one.
As soon as our other issues ease up a bit I may see if I can get her out in the mornings or early evenings.

I am 71, and Roxie is 65. We only leave tyhe house when we have to go out to get something, and try to make every trip cover a bunch of destinations and Pickups. Not hoarding anything, but making sure we buy what we are getting short on. Rode about 135 miles on Sunday with only stops for gas  and nature calls. Definitely keeping human contact to a minimum.

Orange and Osceola Counties have been under a Mandatory Stay at Home so not much of getting out for me and the wife which sucks big time but we have to do what we have to do.
We only go out for necessary items and always careful, having said that, two of the rentals had their a/c stopped working, one this past Thursday and the other one on Saturday so had to have one completely replaced with a new unit and another one fixed.
I had to go take care of things and since most families are home with kids and a/c is a necessity, I did notice that traffic is significantly low compared to normal everyday traffic.
I hear that police apparently have been keeping an eye out for gatherings, seems like yesterday they had a group of young kids on  motorcycles that were stopped, don't know what came out of it.

Stay safe everyone

These are difficult times. I am fortunate my company has all employees working from home. It’s a major adjustment but I know there are many out of work during this event. Focus on the good things we are blessed with and take things a day at a time. I plan to keep riding on the weekends unless and until it is specifically prohibited. Not getting out of the house all week really makes the weekend rides a treat. I hope everyone is managing to endure the challenges during this time. Stay safe everyone, there’s a great RTE in our future!

With my company, being we are a cable and internet provider, there is no stay at home or work from home. I'm being as carefull as I can be, don't go in homes or stand close to customers. My company is not supplying masks or hand sanitizer and that is annoying to us. I have a substantial amount of Hand sanitizer and masks that I've been handing out to fellow workers, but I will have to stop at some point. My job consist of hard line and fiber maintenance but I try to help the home techs as much as I can too. I'm trying to be as safe as I can interacting with othe people, I belive that is the key to staying healthy in these times.
Be safe everybody
practice social distancing
If you are going to ride, ride safe.
The Difficult times will pass and we can get back to socializing.

Jack, you and Jerry and anybody else in their 50's are still kids!  Add 20 years to your age then you can complain about getting old!  I still act like a young kid but in an old body!  I hope I never change!  I'm just saying'.

We are staying home as much as possible right now.  Maybe  this is the time I should be working on my '98 Tourer, getting it ready to ride.  I could always list parts for sale like Jack Attack has been doing.
