I was wondering what front wheels will interchange with the valk.  I understand I may have to make a few spacers but I like the vtx 1300 c front wheel and I have a chance to get one.  Didn't know if it would fit.  I have not seen many options.  I don't really care about the back because with a tourer you can't hardly see the rear anyway

The VTX1800C will bolt right up to the Valk forks. I'd rethink the idea of the 1300C wheel because there are more than spacer issues, as the 1300 uses a conventional frorks. However the 1800C and 1300C wheels are vey similar in spoke design.

Maybe I'm off my rocker but don't you need tubes with spoke wheels? Tubes would be a pita to fix on the road. If I was to do it right I'd buy a chrome one and spend $1200.

That is a chrome vtx 1300 c but not sure of the year.  The pic I have is a chromed one I found online.  It is a cast wheel not a tube type wheel.  I think the vtx wheel is a 19 and runs a 110 or 120.  There is a friend in town that has a vtx 1300 that he is going to put a 21 on the front of his bike and get rid of the pictured style of wheel.  I figured the valk group was the kind to at least try anything and cheap enough to take parts off of other bikes. Here is a great custom wheel made for the valk. with or without lights in them but, they are solid, nice wheels. 5 different designs can be found at their website. www.metricfats.com
