Just so you know the direction, I am deleting posts that introduce political controversy into otherwise non-political threads.

I know it would be difficult to find it specifically stated in the Rules of the Road but I can easily find a rule or two that can be interpreted to avoid unnecessary sh!t stirring.

For those of you given to a tendency to go back to old posts and point out what I didn't do, no, I did not and will not make this practice retroactive.

What if we introduce non-political controversy into a political thread?

How about setting up a separate folder/board whatever you call it for "Politics" or off motorcycle topic conversations.

There are a few who like to spar back and forth on politics, they can have a hay day with that board and it won't fill up the general board with politics.

This is the separate board. Anything that doesn't violate the rules of
the road can be posted here, including how awesome my red Valkyrie
looks:

The tech board is for discussions of our custom tools:

You have to mash down on that rod and overcome a hefty spring
in order to get the threads on that other part started. Mashing
your palm down on a rounded plumbing elbow is way better
that mashing your palm down on a rod...

You didnt read hubcaps post huh? This is the separate board.  Violate the rules get deleted. How much more simple can one be?

Nah it’s not a separate board. It’s a mostly a one sided political BS board with general posts sprinkled in. I like the general posts about ride reports and such.  I know you’ll say “well don’t read the political posts then”. Right? Then why not just have only one board if that’s the case?
I separate board would be nice so we don’t all have to see all the “conspiracy theory” posts but I’m not counting on it.

We have a lot of requests for a political section and it’s not going to happen. So if you don’t like political posts maybe try starting your own motorcycle forum. Likewise if all your thoughts run in a political direction start a political forum. I’m perfectly happy with this forum and it’s management and have been for 20 years. When I find myself at odds with the content I am more that capable of adjusting my viewing habits without the need to form a special section just to suit my idea of what the VRCC should be.

Definition of stupidity/madness/ignorance.

Doing the same darn thing over and over and over and expecting a different result.

IF A POST IS OBVIOUSLY POLITICAL/CONSPIRACY DON'T FRICKIN READ IT.
There are many I pass by because I have the common sense to do that.

use your common sense.
