I finally installed the new mirrors that I ordered on Dec. 31, (ahem) 2018. I got tired of having to tuck my elbows to see behind me, so bought the long stem mirrors from Hoosier garage thru Amazon. About $23 for the pair.
The mirror is almost identical in shape, but they are a full 4" longer than the stock mirrors. Fully deployed they span 45 1/2". Pretty wide.
I feel like the stems look a little spindly for this brawny bike, but after a quick jaunt up to triple digits (metric speeds, of course Grin ) on the way to work, I didn't notice any fuzziness or blurring.
On the up side there is a full panoramic view of what's behind me, way out to the sides.
In "hindsight" I would have probably opted for something maybe 2" wider than stock, simply for aesthetics.

Those look really good and match the oem pretty well as for shape and design. I must admit the elbow tuck to look was not always my favorite thing to do either. The only thing is I like about the oem mirrors though is they dont add any extra width to the bike. Between storage or just getting in tight situations I like the narrowness of them. But I may have to look into those, thanks.

Most of the time, for taller riders, UP is better than OUT for longer mirror stems.

But you are always limited to what is available, and fits.
