Say What You mean Mean What You Say

Rockyview County, Alberta 2001 Interstate

« on: April 09, 2020, 07:44:53 AM »

Well...another week of a dismal weather forecast here in Calgary...may be 5" of snow starting tomorrow.
I fire up the bike about once a week just to keep a coat of oil on all the important parts and listen to that flat six music.
It's covered in dust from projects I've been doing in the garage over the winter so I guess it's time to wash it up, check the tires, check the oil...and wait for next weekend.

Same here in SK. Woke up to another fresh coat of snow this morning.

Mine is still covered in dust too. I was going to wash it those couple days where spring looked like it was here but I don’t like washing it unless I can take it for a rip afterwards and get it up to temp and evaporate/blow off all the water. Maybe it’s dumb, but that’s my thinking.

Soon, hopefully.

After a week and a half of rain/snow, colder than normal temps, and the Virus,  Sun came out and temps creeped into the 60's here.  Enjoyed a great 160 plus mile ride yesterday.   Though had to back track on part of ride due to sun not doing its job of clearing the white stuff of the road I wanted to take.

Now if can figure out a sustainable way of getting gas at the gas station without touching the pump, all would be good.   2funny

Freeze warnings here in SoMo where yesterday we missed a temp Record by 1 degree. Record in Springfield Mo is 88 and got to 87. As I was conversing with daprez he informed me he observed snow flakes-the ones that fall outa the sky. And the cold stuff here in SoMo will be here awhile.  Lips Sealed RIDE SAFE.
