Rainy cold here and I tried something slightly different fer breakfast. I have Williams sausage available here in SoMo and it is a low grease pork breakfast sausage. I prefer the 1 lb roll. Crumble cooked about 2 decent sized patties worth of sausage. Added a smidge of garlic powder. Mixed up the batter with a fresh egg from my neighbor. Stirred in the sausage while the pan was heating up. Dab of Butter in the pan put the pancake mix in hot pan-good sizzle-cooked up 4 good sized pancakes-near size of the plate-slather on a bit more butter and Pure Maple Syrup-Aldi supplied-and I'm here to tell ya that slight bit of garlic with the Pure Maple syrup the real butter and slightly crispy hotcakes DANG! While I'm thinkin on it here anywho the Williams sausage is available in regular sage and hot. I used the regular and it do have a slight bite by itself. And hot fresh coffee to wash it all down. Thinkin my cinnamon fried chicken go Good with the hotcakes. RIDE SAFE.

Sounds interesting and very good, however I would have to try it and decide.
The wife made cornmeal mush this morning, a first. Yes it was really good, feel it needs a sauce but I need suggestions.

All our cornmeal fried mush growing up had butter and pancake syrup on it. We only got it a couple times a year.

I’m no cook, although I do most of the grilling. I did unpack a box the other day that had an old single waffle maker! I gave it a good cleaning and set it on the counter Monday. Tuesday, the first day the twins were with us this week, we all had waffles and bacon or breakfast. I had to use the sugar fee syrup but it was mighty fine to me anyway. I love breakfast!

If you want a decent no-sugar syrup - look for Smucker's sugar free. By far the best Sugar free syrup we have ever tried. It IS available on Amazon if you can't find it locally.

I can barely eat my wife's scrambled eggs - I can't stomach restaurant scrambled eggs. It's a texture thing.

Dang, y'all! I'm so hungry after reading all of this... guess what? My landlady, such a blessing in my life, got me an emergency COVID Relief kit the other day... After reading all of your notions and concoctions, I'm thinkin' it may be time for this non-cook to pay a visit to the kitchen! DDT

This was my b'fast, that's real butter on the Georgia Ice Cream. The cook did a bang up job for me with the 3 scrambled eggs(country scrambled), 3 crispy bacon, 2 toast w/peach preserves, coffee. I hate the way most restaurants do scramble eggs...they beat them into a slurry and dump on the griddle. Then just chop them up after they're already cooked like an omelet. I tell the waitress if I wanted an omelet I would have ordered one, I want country scramble; break the eggs over the griddle and stir it around with a fork until done. I took the picture just to tease my daughter, let her try and figure out who was doing the cooking this morning. Now that is a great looking breakfast, my kind or with sunnyside up and Bradley's sausage.

never had ice cream for breakfast ever... the rest seems delicious just 6 bacon vs. only 3 and double the eggs. I usually have 3 eggs and 6+ strips of bacon for breakfast if going that route vs. just cereal or a bagel with peanut butter on it. If I feel really adventurous and hungry mainly on Saturday mornings, I do a bagel, peanut butter, 3-4 cut up strips of bacon, and 2 eggs fried hard on top. Now that is a sandwich....
