My Obsession

Coolidge, Arizona

« on: December 12, 2009, 08:55:53 PM »

Been a tough week --- both physically --- emotionally --- personally --- professionally

By the end of the week I was wiped out.  Last night was my company's Christmas Party --- we had dinner at the Desert Botanical Garden in North Tempe/Scottsdale.  Beautiful evening --- was glad to be home.

Got up this morning and had to go to Johnson Ranch to see the Grandson march in the Christmas Parade.  He's an awesome young man very well centered with a focus that is impressive for an adult let alone a teenager in High School.

They seem to grow up so fast!  I remember when he was just a little kid --- now he's as big as his Grumpa!

It turned out to be a beautiful morning and of course we rode the Valks

When we got finished and came back to town I told Kendall that I had gotten a prescription from Dr. Honda.  He said to take 1520ccs of Valkyrie riding as much as I could handle until I felt better.  So we did just that!  Rode on over to Casa Grande and did some Christmas Shopping --- picked up a gift for the toy run tomorrow --- presents for both our work exchanges --- some for the grandkids --- and more decorations for the yard/house!  Turned out to be an awesome day!!

Kendall and our niece Rosa have been having a blast "Decking the Halls"  -- scary part is I fear they have only just begun!

"take 1520ccs of Valkyrie riding"

Great post Des. I rode 50 miles or so yesterday just to keep the gears lubed up in RHonda's bike for her. Her bike had the same script...
