Need a couple bearings for my lawn mower deck, Amazon has all kinds for big difference in price. 6203 and 6204 sealed both sides. Used Timken quite a bit thru the years with good results. Who else makes a decent bearing? Has any one used some of these cheaper ones? Wouldnt trust Fine China on the Valk but maybe on the mower.

Check with a company called Berry Bearing, or call a local parts house with bearing number.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but almost everyone seems to treat their lawnmower as a second class citizen by putting on cheap parts and cheap oil.  These machines have a sharp blade wizzing around at a couple thousand RPM right near your feet.  I always use quality parts on my mower.  Get the name brand bearings.

SKF, Timken, INA, FAG, Koyo, NSK
These are brands I am familiar with, and would not hesitate to use for critical applications.  There are probably others.

After having a deck bearing failure the 2nd. time and having to buy a whole new unit, I replaced all the bearings with good quality Japan made bearings (6x) and never had a failure ever the next 10 yrs./to retirement.

Not certain now but at one time Fafnir was a good bearing. RIDE SAFE

I replace the bearings on an old Monkey Wards mower with the cheap ones and they lasted only a year.  Spend a few extra bucks if your going to keep it.
