I was driving in northern NJ today when it started raining. Within an hour, there were cars scattered all over the roads. The ice was so bad that cars were slidding sideways down the hills, spinning out going up the hills.....top speed was about 5 M.P.H. I don't ever remember driving in conditions that bad. Lotta Wrecks! I hope you weren't out there in that mess!!!

We had similar conditions here in Pittsburgh.... various sections of the Parkway, Pike and other roads were closed.  Emerg crews were getting in accidents responding as well.   Great morning to sleep in and stay home.....

Hey Mark

I bet you wished you had the sled dogs today cause it was real bad to drive.

Son, girlfriend, grandson, and girlfreind's mother are heading out to Stroudsburg to celebrate my grandsons  1st birthday. Nancy and I were about 5 minutes behind them. They spun out on Rt 519 in Hampton, off the road, down an embankment, came to rest between two large trees, on top of a downed tree. State Trooper that responded said it was the 4th accident in less than 10 minutes.

No one hurt, thank God. No damage to the van. Waited over two hours for tow truck to come. Just lucky, I guess. It could have been alot worse.

Hope you, Judy, and your family  have a great holiday. Enjoy life my freind.

Stan
