I don't get that Wally World , Lowe's , Home Depot , Dollar Store , etc. Can be open with folks elbow to elbow and the parking lot packed and a big ass lake like Norris and a state park cannot.

Nice day just riding around solo touching no one and no one touching me. Love this old motorcycle... Long Live The Dragon.

yep,  had to borrow yesterday a 3/4 inch deep well socket from my 84 year old neighbor up the street to remove a spark plug that my deep well socket is too big diameter around to fit in the plastic housing of my roto tiller.   Just that extra 1/8" metal around my heavier duty sockets is that much to not go around that plastic housing on the darn newer tillers.  Anyways,  he said just be lucky we not living in CA or NY where they are restricted from even going out of the house in certain areas.    I guess gotta look on the bright side?

I agree with Joe though that why in the heck are these state parks, etc. all closed down knowing where I live at least only a handful of visitors see them daily, if that even.   95% of the time I am the ONLY ONE on the state park lakes in my boat, canoe, etc. not like I can catch these chinese cooties from fish right?

I might go out for a ride when the darn strong winds die down next few days if not raining and see if the one local park about 20 miles away is barricaded as Joe's is.  If not barricaded,  then going to take the canoe out this weekend and take my chances of getting caught playing dumb.

Nice bike by the way Joe,  somehow that newer Goldwing and F6B of Rebs does not do the pics as much WOW eye popping factor as that old blue Valk does.

The reason is that with all these people not working if the parks are open people WILL visit them so they shut them down.

Instead of walking in the parks people are walking on the streets; parks seem safer to me.

But now all these people that can't go to the park are at Home Depot, Lowes, etc...
If they could go to the parks it'd thin out the "elbow to elbow" at Lowes/HD!

I wondered that too. On my way home I pass Home Depot and the Parking lot seems to have way more cars now everyday than before C-19.

When I went to Home Depot a few days ago, they only let X number of people into the store,
and a line formed outside (each person six feet from the next)... one person out, one person in.

Thanks for the report Joe

Managed to get my leg over the Valkyrie today with the help of some Motrin and took
a ride around the Hudson Valley before the thunderstorms rolled in

Paying for that now    Undecided   but I needed the wind.

You touch a 2x4 someone with the cooties before you touched then you got the cooties as well. You watch one channel on TV this is no more than common flu you watch another this sh!t is going to kill us all. Got the news on as I type this 45,000 in America dead from it as of now.

Nice pics as usual, thx for posting.
Ya, building supply chains, garden shops, and  liquor stores are all I'm sure seeing an uptick in business these dsys. Provincial parks were all closed here just before Easter as they were worried with the good weather and holiday weekend that people would go nuts. Thankfully I'm out in sticksville so I still have my usual  mountain lakes and other outdoor getaways.

How's the decision making going now with a Wing in the mix... flip a coin, schedule between Wing and Valk, or...? That's always being my hesitation to get another bike... I typically have a hard time making a decision when I have too many options  Cheesy

Can't lie the 1800 Wing will out do the Valkyrie on all levels that being said it will never be as cool as a Valkyrie. I could park the Wing and one of my Valkyries in front of a store they would walk around the Wing to check out the Valkyrie.... Long Live The Dragon.

yep,  drove by Home Depot and was shocked so many people parked over 3/4's of entire parking lot was full like a normal weekend and this was yesterday being a Tuesday mid afternoon.  the local small town Farm and Fleet had people standing in lines being checked by a heat gun just outside we drove thru the parking lot and said heck with it,  that 5-10 dollar item we wanted can wait not worth the risk nore time to stand in line 5-10 minutes or more just to get into the building.  Parking lot was near full there as well even more so than on a weekend.

The grocery stores though near me are not that busy though for some reason, probably because every single time I have gone in them 3-4 times the past 1 month the shelves are empty and what I want they are out of mostly or they want to charge 3-4 bucks for a dozen eggs - NO thanks.  I have been going more recently into a larger chain grocery store and their prices so far have not jumped up much higher than the smaller ones and the shelves so far are stocked full as well.  NOthing more to piss me off than to go into a basic grocery store and out of milk or eggs or their prices are overinflated price gouging.

I concur on putting our old Valks (if clean) up against another Wing or most HD's in a parking lot.  The VALK draws a crowd over run of the mill most other bikes.  I even had one gent follow me on local hwy. into my small town to local 2 pump gas station while me pumping gas into Valk he talked to me about my 1998 Valk asking me what it is, how many miles,  etc. and he was shocked to see it had collector 20 year old plates on it.  I said from 5 feet away looks sharp but if you get up close you can see all the blemishes it has over the past 20 years so he would just pipe down and leave me alone.  Pumping 4-5 gallons of gas does not take that long... Cheesy

Agree with you Joe on the parks.  We have a private own park about a mile from our home, complete with multiple soccer fields and ball fields, plus lots of walking trails.  The park is closed.  But one can still walk the trials (DW, dog, and I walk them a lot now).

I went to our local Home Depot for stuff last week, did the wait in line for others to leave.   Not sure how many were in the store, but was not way near the amount that is in there normally.  Can' t say about Lowes, as the nearest one is some 90 miles away.
