All I can say is that when they pumped some estrogen into me as part of the treatment it put me in touch with my feminine side. I didn't care much for it.

Yeah, and it included hot flashes like you wouldn't believe. After 3 injections I even started being a bit sick when I first got up, no energy like before, headaches, and I hated the way the salon girl painted my nails.  Roll Eyes Grin  My daughter's reaction...."hey dad, welcome to my world."  Got so bad at times I had to remind myself to stand....not sit.  Wink

There was an article in the New England Journal of Medicine about 7 or 8 years ago comparing the life expectancy of married and unmarried men.  It was a very large study from what I recall and was conducted on 4 continents and in 14 countries.  The study lasted for over 3 years and included over 700,000 men.

The conclusion was that married men did not live longer than unmarried men, it just feels that way.
