Working on a project on some v stacks. Got one siliconed on to see how well it stays. If you look at the picture of it setting on number 6 carb I think I will have to trim the back side so it will not hit the tank. Once I see how it stays on number 2 carb I will remove and trim it the fit number 3 tomorrow. It seems closest to the tank than the other side. I do have a 1/2 spacer on my tank also. Just looking at a way for maybe some v stacks at a reasonable price.

It seems to me I remember reading that guys putting them on interstates needed to shim up the front of tank like a quarter inch or something.  But I think they still had to notch the front two around the pods.

There were two outfits making the ones most guys used, but I can't remember their names.  (one might have been HDL back when they produced a few special parts for Valks)

Once I see if they will work I will drill a small hole in them to relieve the water. Going to add a taller spacer under my tank before I try and make any mod to the stack. Wish we could get the ones from a few years back. They were smaller than these and secured better. I'm hoping clear silicone will work.

I had them on my 99 Tourer. They are smaller than these and secured better. I mounted these with silicone. I have a spacer under my tank, but plan on adding a taller one.

Failure on this one. Even with a 1" spacer in it still hit the tank. Tried trimming the v stack to fit, but didn't look good. Back to the drawing board.

Not one thing wrong with the way they looked from mother HONDA.

When I mounted mine on an interstate that had the tank raised I put some washers under the top screws and that caused the stacks to tip down a bit and clear the tank. I can't get into my photostash right now but can send you an e-mail with pictures.

PM me with an address if you want.

These are not the ones we use to get. These are too big. I took a chance and ordered just one to see if I could get it to work. It doesn't bolt on. Was hoping these would work and could have had 6 of them for around $120. But glad I only bought 1 of them.
