Hello.Auick question. Recently did the PAIR valve delete, worked great no issues. Bike sounds better, rinse better.Recently I was out riding, could tell that it sounded like it was running out of gas.But had a fresh fill up.Bike stopped would not start like no fuel.Played withe the pinger valve back and forth. Opened the gas tank, closed then the bike started, ran beautiful.I remembered that recently ,when. I opened the gas cap it hissed. After I did the delete. Is it possible that something I did caused a vacuum situation to where the gas would not flow.Vent line?
Thanks

Probably a pinched vent line.
Been there, done that after my first tank removal.

The line from the gas tank? The one that is attached at bottom of tank? Did notice that the fuel line clamp was loose, could air have gotten in that spot?
Thanks.
Great bike by the way, love the power sound, believe that bike would smoke a Harley, lol.Know several Harley riders think that theirs is the cats pajamas, lol.

+1. It's a PITA, the line is just short enough to make you cuss. So if you're like me you think a new line about an inch longer will do it.
It does it alright. What it does is kink.

If it hissed when you opened the gas cap then you created a problem with the vent hose coming off the bottom toward the rear of the tank. That's its sole purpose, to vent the tank. You'll notice it has a T about halfway down to where it exits below the bike. That's how it's supposed to be...attached to nothing. It's just in there in case the end of the tube below gets clogged and you'll still get venting. Check to see if you've pinched it somewhere, take care of that problema and you're good to go.
