Got in a little ride on Sunday.
With the temps in the low 80's the spousal unit even agreed to climb aboard.
We met another couple for a ride that began along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
There were a lot of people out and about.
Every overlook that we passed was full of people.
In a 60 mile stretch I passed 3 other Valkyries:
1) A red and black Interstate with some fancy pin striping / scrolling.
2) A black Tourer or Standard with a Batwing Fairing.
3) A black Standard.
I found that surprising since it is so rare to pass another Valkyrie.
It was even more surprising that they were riding completely separate from each other.
We stopped at Meadows of Dan for a bite to eat.
Everything there was slammed packed busy.

No-one seemed to mind that there were lots of people eating at several picnic tables around the store and the restaurant next door.
An older gentleman and his wife pulled up in a very nice old Ford.

He said that it is a 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria.
We decided to ride some back roads home, the BRP was crowded and we kept getting stuck behind slow cars.
Stumbled across this place on a road that I hadn't been down before:
https://www.kanawhavalleyarenaresort.com/ The place has an Old West theme with a saloon among other things.
I'm definitely going to check it out.
