We revised the IZXX artwork to reflect the new dates, but we also added a face mask on the dragon with the fire burning through it to mark this moment in history.  Please vote for your preference (mask or no mask).  Please only vote if you plan to purchase an event shirt.

I have, and very regularly wear, six or seven Joe Boyd shirts. I
don't normally wear transfer shirts, so I don't know if I should
vote, but the mask is a nice touch for this year... people probably
wear their transfer shirts for years the way I wear my Joe Boyd
shirts, the mask will be a "thing" for this time period in a
few years...

Well....it's 50-50 at this point. Personally I don't care which way it goes, but do agree with the mask it might create something special in the future.

The only way the mask would be meaningful is with the flame removed.

I agree! As far as I'm concerned, having both the mask and the flame looks stupid  uglystupid2

I figured you guys would love the burned mask.  It shows the dragon's mindset -- to hell with COVID, I defy it and carry on.

I don't need no stinking mask.

They aren't transfers.  Shirts are screen printed which is much higher quality that transfers.

Burning through the mask was meant to be symbolic (as Valkorado mentioned).

If you have to explain that what it is supposed to be is a mask on a dragon blowing corona fire, then lose the mask or the fire. I really never got the dragon in relation to a Valkrie anyway.

This I get

No mask as I stated on FaceBook. Additionally from a pure marketing I believe in, any type good add or representation should not be negative. Negative hinders sales or participation.

The no-maskers have clearly won this poll.  The Facebook comments were even more in favor of no mask.
So, we will be going with the original design (with date change of course).
