April 21 2020 and I've been smoke free 18 years. BUT I am on the other hand Loaded up with C O P D-another "gift" that keeps on giving.  No complainin just relaying MY deal. Tween the supplemental Oxygen and my CPAP still here and still kickin But granted Not kickin near as high!  If ya haven't yet QUIT NOW!  RIDE SAFE.

I always wondered what 10 years of smoking from 15 - 25 has done to my lungs. Sure would like to know. 34 for me.

I never picked up that habit, Dad died from lung cancer after smoking for many years.

Can’t say you won’t have trouble down the line, but being you quit when you did, your lungs will have attempt to fix themselves, and you may get lucky.

Jerry, if you are concerned ask for a lung x-Ray at your next doctor visit. I doubt you have anything to worry about, but peace of mind is a good thing.

Jerry, if you are concerned ask for a lung x-Ray at your next doctor visit. I doubt you have anything to worry about, but peace of mind is a good thing. Also ask for a lung capacity test I believe It's called. RIDE SAFE.

Wife and I, 12 days smoke free. Dad, smoked 77 years [no filter Camel] died age 87, not smoke related.
From my personal experience the first couple months ARE a beeatch. BUT on the other hand it DO git better. I am at the point when on Phatt Ghurl or in my cage with winders down and some body ahead of me exhales smoke it near gags me now. But if I can do it Anybody can. I was over 4 packs a day when I quit.  BUT I DID Quit. Thank You GOD. Drivin big truck was at times less than interesting. I know-lame azz excuse to smoke!  Good luck and keep yerselves Smoke Free!  RIDE SAFE.

I have not wanted one since I quit. thank you Jesus, 50 years up to 3 packs day. day 6 no more coughing, sometimes I would cough so deep I would pass out. past 12 years taking blood pressure pills, now bp has been running 120 to 124 over 78 to 82. without taking pills. getting longer winded, showing lots of improvement in such a short time. GOD does answer prayers.

RIDE SAFE. O2S--four packs a day is a cigarette every 12 minutes. Takes stones to kick a habit like that! Good on you. Wife and I quit cigarettes about 40 years ago. I have picked up the cigar non-habit. I know there is still risk, but not the same as cigarettes--no inhale of the cigar. I will not give up cigars. It's one of life's pleasures. I figure God gave us cigars to make up for mosquitoes and bad drivers.
