I always wondered what 10 years of smoking from 15 - 25 has done to my lungs.  Sure would like to know.  34 for me.

Can’t say you won’t have trouble down the line, but being you quit when you did, your lungs will have attempt to fix themselves, and you may get lucky.

Jerry, if you are concerned ask for a lung x-Ray at your next doctor visit. I doubt you have anything to worry about, but peace of mind is a good thing.

O2S--four packs a day is a cigarette every 12 minutes.  Takes stones to kick a habit like that!  Good on you.  Wife and I quit cigarettes about 40 years ago.  I have picked up the cigar non-habit.  I know there is still risk, but not the same as cigarettes--no inhale of the cigar.  I will not give up cigars.  It's one of life's pleasures.  I figure God gave us cigars to make up for mosquitoes and bad drivers.

One day at a time.

I would wake up and tell myself "I am NOT going to smoke today".
