After a blind bat (asleep?) kid rear ended me last summer DESPITE FIVE BRIGHT LED BRAKE LIGHTS I've been looking to replace my trunk.  Finally have one, gotta get it to the shop for painting.

Since BonS trunk lights are unobtanium  Cry  I'm looking at one of these for my IS.

I have a trunk rack so the spoiler type are out.

What are you using?  What length? Integrated with turn signals or just brakes? How did you setup the wiring?  Was it an easy process?  How and where did you mount it?  Adhesive  or screw down?

Pictures appreciated.

TIA.

What ever you get, I would wire one for Run and Brake.

There are websites out there with MANY choices.

In thought it was one or the other.  I'll look into that.

I was going to add these on my bike. They are REALLY bright. Easier than the trunk lights.

Is your rack a hondaline? If so I dont think it will work. Mine had the larger show chrome and it fit underneath the rack and had a couple of inches to spare. The spoiler I used was for A Goldwing. Not real good pictures but you can see that it does fit.

Thanks for the suggestions.  Pretty sure that's my rack too Bighead.  I like the look!  I'm guessing a coupla-few drill holes were involved?

Now for that color...  Wink  Kidding, it would grow on me.  It's a Valkyrie!   cooldude

I've also seen a 14.75" integrated running, brake and amber turns on FleaBag.  Looks nice, very thin.  Over a hungie tho, kinda spendy.

Now I can't find the longer one.  Dang.  Here is the 11".  These look much better quality than the less expensive ones that can be had for around $20.

Seth,
I purchased a set of Interstate lights off of ebay and performed the BonS treatment using 1.85" Clusters and 1.25" clusters from Radiantz, I bought the additional lights in case something went wrong.
I also have a Night Rider light under the trunk, made by custom dynamics, it does the night rider thing then flashes about 11 times and then solid when brakes are applied.

Thanks, Steve.  Since you're an expert now, let me know when you're ready to make another set!  I'd make it worth your time and effort.  I can picture me trashing the housings.  I have a way of getting things apart and not back together.   Tongue

I have the brake lights.  They light and flash while the brake is applied. Easy install.  I also installed an LED brake light that was plug and play, although I did have to break off a tab inside the plastic lens to allow it seat when re-mounted.  Don't have the link, but if anyone cares, will try and find it.

Two small drill holes. And I cant believe you dont like the snot color 2funny
Funny story about the paint I decided I wanted that color (synergy green) GM color used on late model comaros. Took all parts to the painter and he said I cant paint it that color it will look like sh1t. I said I am paying and that is the color. He painted and I put it back together and took it to him to see and he said Damn that looks good Roll Eyes  every one that sees it live likes it (mostly). With the yellow pin stripe breaking it and the black it works and I love it.  coolsmiley and hey I painted it for me and nobody else.

It's a better paint job than the plain ol' Silver Bullet's.  I understand, I love her too!
Seriously, your bike looks good.  And, she's yours!

Some or all of those Whelen lights, are police car/aircraft bright. (often with flashers)

Some jurisdictions might give you trouble on them.   police
