How have you mounted it?

I have a couple of Ram Mounts on my bars for various things.  GPS and Video Camera...to be exact.  But they have mounts for just about anything.  Check them out.

I've got my XM Radio mounted, using a beautiful Chrome Clamp, from Leader Motorcycle ( http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/ ).

Easy to take the radio off, and hide away, and looks pretty good, when not holding the radio...

Don't work for 'em, nor do I have any interest, other than being a happy customer.

I have a mount for my Ipod and a clock.  Having the Ipod really helps when I have to use the interstate.  It becomes a liability when I'm in the twisties and something like "We didn't start the fire" comes on.  Try keeping your speed down when listening to something like that.

I have a RAM Mount Aquabox for my ipod and another RAM ball for my GPS cradle which is attached to a short arm.  I can take the arm off and the ball is pretty much hidden behind the Aquabox.  I have both of these mounted near the center of the bars.  The only downside is that they are not the nicest looking accessories being just black...but definitely functional.  I've also got a cheapo cup holder mounted near the clutch reservoir.  It just has a plastic clamp.

On my dad's Goldwing, I mounted a double-ball RAM mount to the brake reservoir in case I want to use my GPS when I take his bike.  I used a double-ball because it was essentially the same price as the single-ball and I figured I might want to mount something else there sometime.  The ipod rides under the straps of the left fairing pocket cover and operates with an FM transmitter that is plugged into a cig-lighter outlet that I wired into the left fairing pocket.  Surprisingly, it is pretty secure there.  I ran all the wiring into the left fairing pocket and just plug it all in there.  I had to make an extension cord to reach the right side hand grip for the GPS.  So I put a universal plug in the pocket that also matches the Battery Tender.  This is very useful since that bike sits so much.

I have a flip down cup holder on the clutch mount. I also mounted the CC to the brake mount. Had speakers mounted on the bars also but moved them up into the batwing. Also got a watch on the brake side and a pair of thongs around the cup holder.  Shocked
